      I am South African and want to get into model railroading. I am a bit worried when it comes to prices because I am on a tight budget and I only really get money from my birthdays. I currently have around R6000 in savings but the train I want costs around R7500. The reason I want it is because it is good quality and I don’t want to buy something that’s cheap and won’t last me long. If you have any recommendations such as were I could find things for lower prices in South Africa that avoids expensive shipping costs. If you could get back to me that would be highly appreciated.😊

    I'm from very rural America, but the great thing about the model railroad hobby is it brings people together from all parts of the world. Thanks for the great video.

    Greetings from Las Vegas, Nevada. I tend to use railroad and railway interchangeably, but I suppose most Americans say railroad.

    From the land downunder Australia I use both railway for track and area railroad for just all the track. Great videos by the way. Old but new at the hobby. About to hit the big 50 lol keep up the good job.

    USA. A railway is used to move heavy structures such as a ship a short distance. Railroads for longer distancing. Great channel. I used your tunnel video to great success. Thanks.

    Great job! I'm in Canada and have put my model railway hobby on hold for the last 35 years. Now that I've taken up a 3D design and printing hobby and have a few 3D printers, I've rediscovered my love for HO model layouts.
    I just binge watched all of your videos and am subscribed to get all notifications. GREAT content, and excellent video work! I'll be anxiously awaiting all future videos! (My favourite so far is "Building a mountain". Super realistic rock and paint work!
    I'm curious if you also do any 3D print work in your layouts.

      Hey Marcus! Glad to hear you like my videos! I have to finish some work before I go full time making videos again. Can't wait to get back filming... I am getting my 3D printer tomorrow actually. I'm really exited!

    Good video, looking forward to seeing the laying of the tracks and the wiring. I am about to build a layout for the first time in many years so watching videos to refresh myself. Two questions that I might have missed the info in your intro video. 1) What scale are you making this layout? I am guessing "N" scale due to the size of the table. 2) Will you be going DC or DCC, I am hoping that you are going DCC as that is what I am planning on doing.
    From Canada and I say Railroad.

    • @TheCreativeModellerHO
      @TheCreativeModellerHO  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks.😊 HO scale, I'm only planning on running small trains so I'm not too worried about having to tight curves. But you will see what I have come up with, in the next few videos. And I don't have any N scale trains.🙁
      DC, Unfortunately, I can't afford DCC🙁

    Hi! What software did you use for the 3D layout of your table?

      Hello! I used Blackmagic fusion and Blender. But these software has a large learning curve. For me, I'm learning the software because I kinda also do vfx and stuff...
