Days 20 to 23: Albania, North Macedonia and Thessaloniki (4,522 km since Belfast)

We were well impressed with the courtesy of the drivers in Albania and the helpfulness of the Albanian people we met. However, we were not so impressed with our insurance company when we discovered we had not been fully appraised of the extra insurance required for entering North Macedonia.
It was lovely to meet up with our dear friends Stuart & Liz in Thessaloniki and visit some of the places related to the Apostle Paul's missionary journeys.

Hi Ian & Gill - that was an unfortunate mess up at the border re: insurance but at least you were able to resolve it and get back on your travels albeit via a roundabout route and you managed to dodge all the rain in the process! 👌
