i got same problem with my C8W series. the problem came after running in 2 days and getting offline after that. i tried many times and many ways to connect to Device AP but it's still doesn't work at all until now. so freakin' disappoint.
This will not work because the device password is the verification code which is 6 digits. You can no longer connect to a wifi network that less than 7 digits anymore. That is why it's impossible to connect to the device unless you use an old phone with outdated OS or something.
Agree! Their support staff just give you the same advice as in this video and send you a link to this video! No live chat function available, just an email address that takes days to get a response! Trash company with trash product!
Brought the 83 c product 3 weeks backs and for the first four days it was working fine. But suddenly the Wi-Fi is out of range and it is not connecting. Absolutely bogus app. No customers support what so ever don't buy ever
I had this camera for over 3 years. After the latest update I am unable to connect to the Wifi. Why change what was not broken? Why? Why? Now it is the holidays when there are more theft and I have no camera to feel safe.
This "troubleshooting" video is pointless. It's just taking you through what the app tells you when trying to set up. My camera won't connect and when I try to connect manually I can find the wifi network and connect to it, but back in the app a window pops up asking for the verification code. Every time I enter the code and press OK the window just immediately pops up again and it gets stuck in a loop. Glad I wasted money on this garbage camera that's incredibly difficult/impossible to connect to!

It’s Outrageous we bought the camera less than three months worked for two months no problems this month. It will not connect. I followed the instructions on the video. Nothing helped search the Internet seems that everyone else has the same problem, but the company didn’t fix it. Shame. I don’t recommend you to buy this camera. It’s stupid pointless. Waste of money.
I have sent numerous emails to solve this issue. The camera doesn't broadcast its own Access Point to continue the set up process. I am willing to understand if there is a bypass to this or if there is a way to connect it to the PC and upgrade/downgrade the firmware.

When trying to share with my wife’s phone I keep getting incorrect verification code. I am sure I’m entering it correctly but it still keeps saying incorrect. Any tips??
After i press device flashes blue, the app jumps back to a prior screen and doesn't go into the configuration page. If i add device for the camera, the only option i get is wired connection. No wifi setup.
@Great_Watt I am livid. I am about to go on a trip and have no camera coverage. I used to brag how exceptional this camera is. Now it's a piece of SHEET.

Every time connected until 90%, it failed. Useless.

Unable to connect to wifi. I tried 20 times, i wont work. I loose money. Dont buy this camera. I have 4 from other companies and I never had problems

Just turn off your mobile 4g/5g connection and it will work.
