Well another stunning one colin. Very much the world that was Cardiff certanly looks diffrent now as a city and as a rail location . some good bits for the modlers too with some of the wagon types .

37704-AND! 37906 on oil👏🏻 This video is priceless Colin, finally got to watch all of it, one of the best/my favourites possibly the best. Railfreight at every turn, nice near the end over the shed entrance with the atmospheric 37 pulling out in a huff! When coal was still aplenty and even doubleheaders, full and empty with the grids on iron ore by the looks of it-possibly from the east coast? Thanks for this, I’ll probably watch it a few times 👍👍👍 Darren
Cheers Darren, with you being into the modelling scene those old unfitted coal wagons ect must apeal to your imagination i guess. The iron ore trains actually ran loaded from Port Talbot to Llanwern steelworks, and like the Hunterston to Ravenscraig ones in Scotland back then, used to be worked by 3x37's before the Grids took over. I have another Cardiff one in the archives but that will come later. Next one will be Eastleigh

Those were the days eh ! Early morning starts to 7 tunnel, Newport, Cardiff, Margam, Landore, Radyr and anything else we could cram in.,.lol
