Cam’s verse on DJ clue’s fantastic four 2 is legendary “back in the days we was slaves, whips and chains, It's tradition, all I got, whips and chains”
That’s my shit
A rapper’s rapper, everybody in the game around that time knew he was a problem.. that’s probably why Jay ain’t like em 😂
Bro 100%
@@darryldennis3487Jay didn’t like anyone coming for his position
Yeah that shit
Cam was something else. Him Juelz and Jim Jones really was on top for a good while back in the 2000s. Good times. It's crazy the part where Cam asked Mase why he didn't take him to Puffy and I said "I don't think Mase trusted Diddy" and shit no surprise that was true
Absolutely. Dip Set had my whole high school tenure on fire 🔥 had my senior year BALLIIIIN Every basketball game
Cam is literally a mf with his own style , nobody can copy Cam's delivery
I remember hearing him say on a spng..
"Now you stuck on the Ave like the block got parentheses "....
I was like😮I literally had to give it a visual cause I'd never heard noone use that word in such a visual way..
Forgot what song I heard that verse in tho....
Especially on a song where he said
"Now you stuck on the block like the Ave got parentheses"...forgot the name of the song, but I remember the visual and thinking I'd never heard anyone use "parentheses" in such a way
It's a rare amount of mfs like this in hip-hop. But I always think of him and Project Pat when I think of completely unique styles.
Cam definitely made it cool to wear pink, I was around during that time … plus he a rapper’s rapper… like if you an artist yourself you understand how intricate his bars are. Dude was rhyming whole sentences and had em make sense
I been wore pink. He wasn’t the first and won’t be the last.
He droped hos album on jay z birthday lol
@@MrPreachxI never really wore pink and still don’t lol… maybe a pink polo horse 😂 but I feel you homey, I was just watching from a distance
@@darryldennis3487 but he just took pink to another level. But I don’t love it that much. But I still wear pink but not everything.
@@MrPreachx🧢
its krazy how he looks just like the real Alpo Martinez.. the role was perfect for him
The side by side is CRAZY
Cam does have word play a true MC 🎤
Cam in my top 10 all time.... super underrated
Don’t forget too that Cam’s/Dipset prime was in the bootleg era. In the hood everyone banged these songs but they bought the bootleg 5 for $20 version!!!! It goes all the way back to SDE which was leaked and put out way before it came out. Purple Haze I bought the boot leg version at least a year or a year and a half before it actually came out. Dipset and Gunit were the hood favorites but unfortunately no one in the hood bought the real cd’s or there numbers would of been stupid crazy.
Yeah, I feel like Came’on definitely needs more recognition in the rap game and he should be up there with Jay-Z and 50. I think his style was exclusively Northeast and he never really had national hits like those guys. “Purple Haze” is criminally underrated
ha ma went platinum and was on tv same with dipset anthem there was a few others aswell
Killa been getting down South love since the Horse and Carriage had Silk off beat rhyming azz on it. There was 5 year run from my 8th grade year in 02 all the way thru my senior year where Luda, Cam, some 50, UGK, Chamillionaire, and Yeezy lived in my 6 cd changer player.
Thanks for The Bloodshed and Big L Love they was essential to this Movement God Bless Everyone Take Care
Facts that what my older members from Harlem was telling me Coc/ children of corn or sum shii 🎶 but they was heavy in the streetz . Cam came from that clan of spittaz 🎙 🔥 🕰 ✨
Great video breakdown. Cam definitely one of the underrated rappers of the time, has always been a personal favourite of mine
Mase being in that vid would've been huge for Cam. Might've pushed him platinum as big as Mase was.
Yes
Imagine how big mase camron and juelz would been wirhput jimmy sinkin tj3 ship😅😅
Diddy must've been behind that bs
🗣️Used to have THE BIGGEST crush on this dude🤣💯 It was the pink, and his style of cadence on tracks🔥🫶🏾🔥
My fav rappers Him and Pac both born in Harlem World 🌎
Wow great documentary!!! You did hell of a job, so much research and didn't left none of the important parts and less known (like Killa health issues) ! Dope, dope! Keep going, we appreciate your hard work (research, editing etc) 💯 S/O to you king from Belgrade, Serbia 🏆💪🏿
Children of the corn harlem!
Young Guru just mentioned in an interview that Jay Z’s Oh Boy verse isn’t actually deleted & is basically just muted in a Pro Tools file. So we still have a chance to hear the lost verse if it ends up leaking😭
What is pro tool fiiles?
@@arnoldgarzajr1164 Pro Tools is a software that artists and engineers use to record songs with. In a Pro Tools template there’s multiple tracks where the engineer would place vocals in, either to use or not use. Young Guru basically put the jay verse in a muted track on the file.
@@arnoldgarzajr1164basically they went in the actual song composition on Pro Tools and muted the music stem that has Hov's verse on it 😂
🧢
Exactly. That shit is done.
Cam’ron is not the best rapper of all time, but he is my favorite rapper. Dude is unique and had his own style.
It's art. If you think he's the best. He's the best. Art is all about perspective and how you feel. Not about sales and other corporate bullshit. It's art bro.
@@Kuhmodo your response does not make sense. Cam isn’t the great rapper of all time but he is good
Good job on this information- Cam is a Beast!!!!!
This was super impressive! Can you please do vids for Stack Bundles(RIP), Max B and Vado? Would love to see you cover all three of them legends
I've already done vids on Max and Stack. Long time ago though. Definitely need to redo the Max vid one day
that Vado would be fire.
Vado is awesome too ,he's got a similar flow to Cam .the only person I think that I could say that about
Thank you for dis he don’t get enough credit
Dude you never fail with the content.
I love how in every video you say something twice 😂 it's like a nice little Easter egg to look out for
Cams flow is one of a kind in hiphop
its wild how The Original Harlem Diplomats dvd cant be found online at all. that strip club intro with Jamaican Joint playing in the back was pure Dipset
That verse at the beginning is from crown me
That kill’s season intro cam part is really the best track
Nah that shot is hard as hell
EASILY THE CRAZIEST INTRO TO A ALBUM UNDERRATED
whole album pretty tough
I appreciate when you do my era of hip hop..90'$
L.O.X made Dipset look so bad on stage that I was embarrassed. Juelz and Wayne had that "I Can't Feel My Face" project that was never released, and it was some of Juelz' best verses along with Wayne's, too. So much wasted potential came out of Dipset from Hell Rell to Juelz. Hell Rell, during his "Hardest Out" mixtape run, was on fire. "S.D.E" was one of my favorite Cam'ron albums, and "Purple Haze" just needed some trimming, especially when it came to the skits. 48:18
Juekz should had took over. And then writer rell etc in that order. Jim shpuld had played his position as the hypeman/mascot/yayo😅
Dope ass video! I was a kid when he was dropping all this! This is nostalgia fr!
Great video subject. Such a charismatic rapper.
See I gotta go back I never heard his first two albums I'm from the south we didn't know Cam till Dip Set and Purple Hazes
Thanks for the content man
Cam is def one of Harlems best
He is the best, then it’s jim mase juelz big l
Been waiting on this one 🔥
Cam's been a legend forever, but his new joint "Last Stop".....oh god....that shit's craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy
Camrom style and flow is excellent 💪💪💪
Killa Season was the album I had brought after watching the movie.
purple city bird gang is one of the best anthems of all time we’d always see them grabbin dutches and givin out dipset hats out the back of the the pink range at the bodega
Cam hands down one of the best MCs to touch the mic/ and can’t forget Jewels
No he's not lol
Older people who live this era need to start doing videos. There’s a feeling that came with diplomats. This video only came from what was said in other interviews.
GREAT VIDEO ON THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME CAM'RON - KILLA CAM 🐐
There’s so many Dipset classics that just aren’t available on Spotify! That opening song “Crown me” is only on TH-cam. I think it might be time to get on that TH-cam premium 😂
To think Cam got into it with 50 defending Jim Jones being on Koch, then Jim Jones starts kicking it with 50 while Cam was beefing with 50. That destroyed Dipset smh
I totally respect your craft
Cam is my favorite rapper of that new York 90s Era. Dipset was my shit threw the 2000's. I will always fuck with killa
My favorite line from paid n full is when Cam pulled up on bro on the bike and said "Whats poppin Kermit"😂
Hell Rell definitely went crazy on get em daddy remix
HELL RELL BODIED IT TO ME HE HAD THE BEST VERSE.🙏🇵🇷🔥🫡
@@jcalderon3056 that’s a fact
Growing up I had cassettes I would buy but I finally got a cd player. I had a few cds already but confessions of fire was the first one I bought myself.
Love your videos, never stop!!
Cam is a real Legend… plain and simple.
I honestly think now learning more about cam as I got older he has a ridiculous sense of humor he very comical
Killa season has some hilarious lyrics.
Килла Кэм один из самых ярких чуваков в 2000х! всегда любил его музло!!!!
Cam was such a smooth killa on the mic. Always keeping his composure on stage like a young rakim Allah
I wish Cam'ron had a song with Biggie small in the valut .🔥🔥🤟🤟🤟killa season
Great vlog. Nice work.
Been waiting on this one b
Thank you for this vid! Cam always been one of my faves 🔥
“I keep computers putin” 😂😂😂 NO ONE EVER QUESTIONED IT EITHER!
His CDS are truly Rap Classics. Still Very Handsome.❤❤❤❤
Thanks for tha video
Cam defined a generation of good dudes White,Black, or Spanish. Between the fashion, the lingo, or the beat selection. Dips set aside from Kanye were the first dudes to really use the sped up R&B samples and vocal.
Perfect timing, 🔥
Check out “Glory” from Confessions of Fire ft. Nore off his first album… soon as I heard that I was like yeah, this is the pinnacle of word play, flow, delivery and all around skill… pound for pound and bar for bar, he was nicer than Jay-Z at that time, he just ain’t have the same marketing behind him
I miss the 90s i was 16 when confessions of fire dropped and it was the best music from 90 to 06 was my favorite
Cams flow is literally one of a kind
Now a nicca sick of the Range, only a new Six could fix the pain🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the channel we definitely want dat dipset video to bro
Most def in my top 5
The vids are proper bro keep it up. Love from UK 🇬🇧
People always 👀 looked at you like you weren’t ever going to be around or anywhere but nowadays they’re all just going crazy 😝 overthinking about you now and you’re a good person and great friend throughout all of the stuff that you’ve always been through ❤basically blessed,,,you’re strong and still the best person and friend out of everyone and everything…..you’ve been through so many hard things and you are a very strong 💪 and great person throughout all of your life and pain…..❤
Dope video 🔥
I love Killa but round 2003 computers started pute’n 😒
Inever knew Cam'ron wrote Crush on you I thought big did😮
Cam is the greatest complete rap superstar
“A few of them clapped , i ate them shits, those shots were Scooby snacks” haha 😂
Jus subbed good work Clout
Vado era definitely should of gotten more detailed. Vado was hot he was like Juelz 2.0 . Unfortunately they both fall in the same category of what could of been if they had played there cards different. I also loved (no homo) JR Writer he went stupid hard he just didn’t have the big personality in the interviews which you needed to be a star back then. Bar for bar not to many could hold there own against him.
Vado also lacked the personality as well
Vado had bars, that's all..nothing else to become a star
what happened to Tom gist and prospect penz
There will never be another Camron 1of1🇺🇸
Well he ain't dead. 😂😂 so he still the only one
I remember my best friend and I bought the cassette “confessions of fire” after school 1 day and played it until the tape popped
Cam was the first to make being like shaggy cool for rappers. Nigga had to respect bcuz he can rap n funny as hell. The roc tbh did a lot of shit ahead of they time
Cam'ron to me is my G.O.A.T. #1 in my top 5 of all time #2 to me is Pimp-C 🤷🏾♂️
Great video!
Dat ninja go deeeeep 🙈
Def make a dipset video
Happy Birthday Cam’ron.
Killa is a legend in hos own right.Godbless fam and murda.....🙏🏽✌🏽
46:23 mase is back there twicking 😂😂 then nonchalantly pull out his flip phone
Dipset documentary gotta be next
We'll see! I have a date in mind but depending on how this video goes we'll see if I change it
has he even done jim jones yet?
@@juzzilauren not yet. TBH idk if I want to do one on him. With shown interest it could be a possibility down the line maybe. We'll see
you make great content
😂😂😂😂😂Cam be lying, "nobody offered him 300k for that mink"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purple Haze is a straight classic though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idk he also told that same story on Cam and Mase podcast. He said te guy wanted to put it up in a museum or some shit. BUT I ain't going to call cap on something I wasn't there to prove. Just because you don't believe it. Don't mean it still didn't happen.
@tiram12 👈🔫💯!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Purple Haze #Classic
Say mane
Can you do a Video on Evil Pimp and the Krucifix Klan
Killa is that NICCA.....IF U KNOW U KNOW
