    Hello Cassiy. Thank you for this information. I communicated with you a few weeks ago and took your advice about studying the competition. I have been using both Everbee and Sales Samuri. I learned so much. Even realized that the loss leader concept was being used by 2 year old competitors. I established my pricing concept and am now working on the design aspect. I have received 11 sales so far. My fingers are crossed as I continue to move forward. Again, thank you for your videos and recent advice.

    Thank you Cassiy for your many lessons. I bought some of your mock-ups from your last video I looked at. I realized I cannot use them on Printify, not I am not sure of a few things such as, how to upload, where does the tee-shirt coming form, who will ship it and all the things that comes after someone buys it. I understand how Printify does it once an order is made. There is no video so that I can find to help me.

    Thank you for this insightful information. I loved understanding better how ranking on the Etsy search results works. I'm not understanding what you mean by a 3x3 pattern. I think you mean to just take the 9 icons and put them in a 3x3 arrangement (3 columns x 3 rows). Or is there a pattern you use somehow? Was this related to the heart somehow?

    Thank you Cassiy! Your content is awesome and always just what I need to hear! Down the road would you consider doing a video on selling kids shirts? I have researched it, but the production cost on printify and the limited products make me question if it is worth my time. You would basically need to charge almost the same price as adult shirts to make any money. Yet I see some sellers have built a whole store around it and don't sell the shirts for much money. Thanks Cassiy! This is right on time! I actually woke up stumped today. I've been watching my listings and seeing LOTS of favorites and visits come through which is helping me understand what's actually trending (and I'll continue to make more designs in those niches); however, my conversion rate has been so LOW!!! Because of your videos, I think I've got my SEO and listing photos in good shape. Now I'll work on perfecting the other areas of my listings and adding those personalization options to differentiate my listings too. Adding the details about the high quality of DTF is a great idea too! I think it's time to dabble with a loss leader for a few listings too!
    P.S. I use your profit calculator daily! It's fabulous. Worth every penny. I also saw the new Everbee "Profit Calculator" show up today while I was researching. Curious to hear what you think of it. Maybe in another video? Thanks again! Lisa

      I was probably making a few hundred dollars per month, I think my first ever video I went month by month on how many sales I had my first 8 months selling if you want to go back and watch it! I’d make a goal of getting to 500-1000 listings by the end of your first year. You will learn a lot over this time and have tested a ton of things! I think I had over 500 listings by time I started making any real money. Everyone’s journey is different though but I think it’s good to know that it takes time and you have to test lots of different stuff to see what works for you!

    Thank you Cassiy, Your videos are super informative, easy to follow, interesting and helpful. I would really be interested in a video on how you manage delivery profiles? Do you create one for each listing and/or a variety of groups of listings, or a generic profile for each item (eg. tshirts, sweatshirts, mugs, totes,)? Also, would love a video on the best way to organize your shop ie. categories, like items together (ie all sweaters together, tshirts together, etc) OR, like designs together OR... other options? Also, do you suggest mock ups for unisex clothing to be non binary, or since etsy is majority female buyers, do your mock ups focus on the female buyer and have accessories accordingly?

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I do just one delivery profile typically unless I am doing a different shipping type for a whole category. I wouldn’t recommend spending much time at all organizing your shop. And I typically sell mainly women’s clothing in my store so I use a lot of women model mock-ups or I just use flat lays for the unisex designs, which just means it’s a picture of a shirt flat of the floor or hanging up instead of on someone.
      Try not to overthink some of this stuff! The important parts are, find what’s already selling, add some value by creating your own version of a design for that niche, and get it listed. Best of luck!

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are fine to include whatever you'd like within one store but I would caution you on spreading yourself so thin trying to sell all of those things at once. It takes awhile to really understand a product type, test things, learn and then scale your business. If you are spreading your time between so many categories, then it might take you a lot longer to get good at selling just one of them.

      We shoot for 20%-25% NET profit. That is after ALL expenses are added together. Our biggest expenses are product cost, Etsy fees, and advertising. If you shoot for at least 35%-40% gross profit on each item (sale price less the product cost), you should be able to hit 20% net profit with no problem. Hope that helps!

    Hi Cassiy, I've recently changed my shop to the spend $35 and get free shipping guarantee, and not Etsy is saying I need to update my shipping for the delivery dates? I'm not sure how to fit that since the shipping is through Printify.

    Hi Cassiy, thanks as always for your great videos. Wondering if I could get your thoughts on 2 things... 1) Have you ever had issues logging into your etsy account from a different location? I am a digital nomad and I was recently suspended on Etsy for a suspicious log-in from my location that doesn't match my shop location or residential address. - 2) Shop location: Do you understand this to be the sellers physical location? Or the location where your shirts are printed and shipped from? There is NO policy on Etsy explaining that. I ship exclusively from and to the US, but I physically am not in the US. You know Etsy is notorious for not answering and getting back to you. Your thoughts would be highly appreciated!

    Okay I'm panicking! I copied one of my POD listings from Etsy instead of duplicating it on Printify. Is the new listing that I hit "Copy," changed the cover photo, and published somehow still linked to Printify or did I break the link when I copied it from Etsy instead of Printify?

    • @CassiyJohnson
      @CassiyJohnson  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s still connected! The SKU number in the listing is what tells Printify what to order. The only thing that would change that is if you change the design in Printify at all like resizing the image for example

    Thank you Cassiy I appreciate all the information you provide. I have a question on how to get sales. I have visits, I have views and I also get favorites, however I don't get sales. I am 4 months new and I got 4 organic sales and 9 sales from family around Christmas. Since Dec it's been crickets on the sales. I don't know what is going on and why I am not getting sales. I do everything I am learning.

    Hey! I have a question- basically I just opened my shop up almost a week ago, and I feel like I’m implementing all the strategies to the best of my ability but not getting much views! I began taking time of day into consideration? I am guilty of uploading listings really late at night smh, do you have any suggestions for the best times of day to upload onto Etsy? And would this be different for Pinterest?
    Thank you in advance, your videos are amazing:)

    Matching competitors prices is hard for me. The big shops seem to have super low profit margins on their items. I cannot sell for that cheap or there would be no point in running my store whatsoever.
