Idk why but I always struggle with reversals more than dream hypers so this level really broke me trying to time reversals while exiting dream blocks 😭
Im totally stuck in this one because of lack of knowledge. In the 2nd jump, I have no idea what the theory behind what you need to press is supposed to be, and im not even sure I have my controls mapped correctly because I just realized I had my Y button both into crouch jump and jump, and I only just set my B to crouch dash yesterday lol
This would be in low advanced or even high int if the celeste community didn't correlate tech use directly with difficulty, i suck at this game & came out of this map with 47 deaths where my average is closer to 400-500 for middle of the road expert maps.
This is a good example of how the correlation between how hard an experienced player finds something and how hard someone that's actually new to expert will find it completely breaks down. If you haven't spent several hours grinding consistency on dream hypers and ultras, this level will be an impenetrable wall. Let's say you had your way, and tech was completely decoupled from difficulty. This would mean if you're getting into custom maps for the first time, before even starting a beginner map, you would need to study up on every single tech in the game and grind your consistency with it because beginner would just mean "easy assuming you can do literally all the tech in the game consistently, which takes hundreds of hours of labbing".
So I just discovered that demoing the dream hypers makes the timing infinitely more easy. that wouldve been good to know before I beat this map :)
it doesnt change the timing at all but if your analog it might make it easier not to super

This was a super fun map!!! Even though I beat it quite fast (15 minutes) it was fun doing the dream hypers and supers!

how do you get good at dream hypering with analogue? i have the exact same pro controller

I use Open Joystick Display, takes a bit of work to set it up tho

Dream hypers are kinda hard. For some players (me) they're a gatekeep that causes a lot of deaths.
for experienced players, it's easier. but for beginners dream hypers and ultras are quite hard to get a hold of.
if there is hard tech in a level the level is harder. why would they not correlate difficult tech with difficulty.

Low advanced i'd say is too much tbh, i'd say it's around high advanced, probably low expert tho just cuz it uses expert tech
ngl this doesn't really look expert, maybe like red advanced unless there's a gimmick I'm missing
