No game will ever be as developed as Skyrim, the mood, the sounds, the music, everything is perfectly balance, the wind howling through the trees is juste so relaxing... This is the only game that makes feel at home, it's like I lived in Skyrim for ten years now. Incredible 🌠
I wonder what rolling across skyrim would look like 😁in vr I bet we'll the story we hear as kids sit close to the TV you get squared eyes would be close more like spinning vary nauseating 😖

just had a horrific loss, watching this is a good way to escape back to when i was 11-12 playing this game for the first time. thank you for primo upload
I just got a 4080 and the very first thing I did was heavily mod Skyrim. It’s like a tradition for me every time I get a new graphics card. It was the first thing I played with my 980 way back, then my 2080 Super in 2018, and now my 4080 in 2023. Skyrim is 100% my comfort game and it is so amazing that the modding community has kept it alive for so long. This video makes me want to turn the Whiterun tundra into a forest like this. Looks so good and that tundra is a little barren anyways.
This is simply wonderful. Ten years on, I still love playing Skyrim... but it's not so good to sit at a console all evening. This allows me to bask in a beautiful rendition of the world, while IRL walking in place and reaching up to brush away low hanging pine branches and kneeling down to 'pick flowers' for alchemy. A relaxing evening workout. ;)
see, my favorite hold in the game is the rift. could you possibly make a vid walking from falkreath to riften through the snowy pass accessible through helgen? on the path to heimar's shame?
@@HollywoodMagic awesome! hell, even if you started in Helgen it would be awesome, I'm mostly looking for the transition from the snowy mountains to the absolutely stunningly gorgeous aspen forest of the Rift. Gods I love that hold
Love this video. It makes me remember why I loved Skyrim so much. The mods you’re using make the forest looks so full. I sometimes watch this video to relax myself before bed.
Hi there - unfortunately I do not have the exact song name, but I do have the artist. You can hopefully find the song you are looking for (along with a bunch of other fantastic music) here: th-cam.com/users/Vindsvept. Highly recommend a subscribe - they have some great stuff!

Hey man great video, I’m planning on making a Skyrim commentary video soon! Would you mind if I used some of your footage? I would give credit of course
Could you explain what trail you followed so i can keep up with this on the map? Also, I don't understand how you end up at High Hrothgar (central skyrim) if you traveled across all of skyrim (not trying to hate I'm just trying to make sense of everything)
I'm not quite sure what you are referring to. These walking videos do not follow a specific trail or path around Skyrim. Some of them connect yes, but they were not released as a continuous walk.
@@HollywoodMagic ohh ok idk why I was thinking that. If you don't mind me asking, will you ever make a video like that (a video where we can follow you on a map through skyrim)?

For this particular video the two mods you're seeing are "The Great Whiterun Forest" which just affects Whiterun Valley, and the other mod is "Simply Bigger Trees" which affects the entire map.
I add the music manually on top of the videos. You can find links to two youtube channels (Vindsvept & Adrian Von Zeigler) that I get the music from - both are excellent!
That's one of the amazing things about the great forest, the ability to lose yourself in a place you know well.
Even more so if forest is haunted no return like a lost village

Sorry to hear of course, but glad that the videos are helping. Everybody needs a little escapism once in a while - take care.
Wow, the mods look incredible with all the extra foliage. The game is unrecognizable.

I didn't even recognize that it was whiterun xD Damn you added a huge forest !
It's not for everyone, but I love all the trees. Personally I love the addition of the Whiterun forest.

I really don't want to play this now.
The visual and effort put into this video is indeed quite admirable.
ButbAndrian Von Zeigler's music is actually quite upbeat for Skyrim atmosphere.
Please check the description. I provide a link to his work in all of my Skyrim videos....even if I don't use any of his songs for a particular video.
