I mean, I definitely can't argue with that Man: „I love farming." I had around 11k or more kills of the Lich in 2019, in RFD. Farming Greys, Herbs, Chests and DE Mats with my Rogue. HS in Ratchet as Alliance.
Coolest game for gathering was New World. When you gathered wood you literally chopped the whole tree down. There were different types of rare trees etc. Then mines etc.. Was really enjoyable.
Glad someone said it new world flopped but the early stages where I was just stoned in the open world farming was peak immersion. Mining woodcutting etc etc and you could work on all your professions! Not just 2.
i think albion is the game where gathering is the most fun, because you can get ganked anytime and, depending on the zone, loose everything you were carrying, so you have to be on alert always, ( in some zones you are safe but the good stuff is on the red zones and black zones were getting killed means getting your body looted)... im playing wow classic now and im loving it, but i miss the risk reward system of Albion that made you pick your poison....
