Uhm actually… you should’ve equipped the spider shield and the poison bite ring, if you had done that along with the painting guardian set and 99 resistance you would’ve gotten poisoned one pixel away from the edge of the swamp instead of 3/4s of the way like in the video
I think resistence is actualy rlly good as a stats If u are plaing as a heavy build or a knight one once u hit liv 30 with hp resistence is ideal for taking alot of less dmg(surviving even the powered artorias jump atk)especialy if u are based on phisical defence,helping to managing more doe enemy P.s maybe the poison resistence seems usless but he actualy let u take way less dmg from that debuff

bro I can't tell if you are criticizing the video or not. If you are critiquing it then I'd love to understand better what you mean. Hope you enjoyed the video. I know that res raises more than just poison build up, but poison is the easiest of the stats to actually "visualize". Also not many bosses deal billed or toxic damage, that's why I focused more on the possibility of being able to not get poisoned in the only place where is definitely going to happen. On. the part of playing video games cause a buddy told you, I really didn't pick up on that. Suggesting I spend hours and hours of my life just cause "its cool lol" its pretty reductive on all the work I put into the videos and challenges, but maybe I just read through your comment and arrived to the wrong conclusion cause again I don't think I completely understood what you were trying to say. I wish there was an additional benefit to leveling up Resistance, like maybe increasing Poise. That does help you resist being staggered, afterall.
