Absolutely EXCELLENT combination of ideas. Concierge Barber Service + Adaptation of Uber/Lyft (Service-Travels-TO-the-Client) Concept + Adaptation of Custom Van Building. (Over the past 2-4 years, I've seen businesses in my region that offer mobile bicycle repair, car washing/detailing, car tire changing, & dog grooming... So why not mobile barbering? Well, it's probably going to be limited to barbering - b/c other forms of human hair styling & cosmetology will probably require too much fresh water consumption).
Being a mobile hairstylist is NOT legal thru the cosmetic art board in NC. However the barbers can be mobile in NC. I'm so proud of this guy. Does it have a bathroom? How do you do do with water?

I thought of this idea as well, but I couldn’t get past the scale issue. If it costs 25k - 40k per truck at least to get up and running with only 1 chair, why not just spend that money on a brick and mortar shop and have 4-5 chairs? Economically doesn’t make too much sense. There are people doing this in LA and Atlanta also from what I know.
Used trucks in the UK are definitely cheaper than that. You probably could get three four vans with that price. After a while they should start charging a premium for evening services, that will definitely make them money.
