Cray, the lag is caused by shader compilation. This game doesn't have shader pre-compiling which means every time you update your gpu driver or the game gets an update you will experience this. Just cruise around the map for like 10-15 minutes, hit some trees and cars let the game "see" and compile every shader once and you'll be fine
So a few tips on drag racibg. 1.) Forget the new speedometer on the left, that one is false/meant to fool you. Focus on the main speedometer to the right. Always shift when your at the peak of your cars acceleration/rev before the needle hits the red. 2.) Focus on acceleration, for when shiftinf perfectly you gain 3 bars of boost and you need to use them when your in 3-4 gear thats the best time to use it. 3.) Make sure to get cars with amazing acceleration, if the car has been known for not having good acceleration don't waste your time and or money on that car. Note, sleeper cars have a lot better chances than some supercars, some supercars can still beat sleepers but it depends on what track your on. Those are some tips i learned from playing/from other TH-camrs that play nfs and such. Hope this helps. Also, try out the Mustang Boss and Nissan Fairlady z, those are apparently boss cars for drag racing.
1.) Is false, the new speedometer is accurate, people just don't know how to use it properly. The right speedometer is also good to use if you want to, but mostly should be used for perfect launching, as it shows the optimal place to launch just like every other race, the left one shows where specifically you can get a perfect shift which is where there is a small green transparent bar on either side of the speedometer. You have to hit both on either side to get perfect shift. Another indication is when your needle turns green.
Cray let me pyo. Off-road tires and suspension. Slider all the way to the right for drift. Then pack as much power as u can into the car. All cars in drag have the same grip levels so it's all about the power u can pack into the build
If you want to build a drag car for each class there is a method to that just like the drift build where certain parts aren't important or needed to be upgraded, I can give some tips on that too. There are also some tips on drag racing in general to give, some misconceptions too and some really good information on what cars you might wanna build to get the most value and chances to win. Luckily the game is actually not too broken on having 1 specific car faster than the rest, there are multiple cars that are good for drag racing especially when looking at each class, they each have at least 4 different cars that are really good for drag racing
I literally just bought this game yesterday, and it feels like when I just got NFS Heat all over again, buying it forever after it came out, and learning everything from you☠️

Not sure if anyones answered this question yet but, I think in the last video you asked if the game is laggier or is dropping frames a bit more than usual. Yeah, it definitely feels like the performance of this game dipped after this update. Idk whats up but, hopefully the community can bring attention to that and theyll include it in some patch notes down the road.
The performance of the game didn't go down, it's just a shaders issue, what you have to do is simply drive around the map for a bit, let the game reload itself, hit some trees and register some things in. It's annoying to do but it gets rid of the issue so you don't have to worry about it anymore. It happens per big updates, it's not common throughout the whole game as I have seen plenty of people playing the game with no issue because they ran around the entire map at this point showing new content.
@@CrayG and you also can slide up above the starting line. With some Rear-wheele cars. If you hold the gas and let your tires get hot. Once you move up a Lil bit. Let off the brakes.
It's pretty dope I like it I just haven't played it yet LOL but I played a shitloads of underground let me give you some advice if you fall behind draft up then hit the nos
Pin 📌 this comment If your car keeps turning left and right fast it means your left stick has stick drift so go to your settings nd turn your deadzone up thank me later
I love seeing Cray genuinely enjoy NFS again 🔥 gives me early NFS Heat nostalgia

Yeah I agree
I miss those heats days

Cray was shocked in that first race 😂

Seeing the early attempts before a Meta is known is cool asf 🔥🔥 better late then never they finally added things to game we actually want 🙏🏼

They was pressing that lag button hard lol
I built a S+ R35 and got smoked by Volvo 242. Back to the drawing board😂😭 I have a decent B class build with my Barracuda tho.
Probably was me ngl 💀

Every win that you or we do from a perfect N2O shot after your opp did it first is such a "Too soon junior" moment
GTR got heavy acceleration but eventually it loses it’s lead, Meta needs to come out alr I’ve been experimenting other builds I got the same problem
Lane switching as a beginner in this game is terrifying 😭😭😭😭

Need for Burnout: Underbound Paradise
Very cool drag tune build with Nissan GT-R , CrayG!
That lag is diabolical!
You gotta rev the car to match the line on the right speed odometer. Not the left one to start the race
This car would’ve worked a little better in S Tier
First lol but this update has been lit from what i heard EA cooked fr this is the energy they should had came with Day 1!

@@leofhr2966 Ah I see.
If you reduce the steering sensitivity on the drag builds it makes it easier to lane switch
You wanna hold the throttle in the white little spot above your gage for a perfect launch
The big ol drag
Iv been building underground 2 meta cars and they are still staying today
10:52... The Best Win Reaction Ever!!!
6:52 😂😂😂😂
Yessir Cray dropped another banger 💪🏿💯
Wonder if the classic muscle cars actually have some use since the drag events dropped, haven’t tried any yet
Try keeping rpm in Rev range start. Gives you perfect launch
When will you stream on TH-cam
Look at the Right gauge to get a perfect launch at the beginning of the race.
learned that by the last few races

That gtr you built isn’t slow lol the game is just broken 😂
It's the game tryna compile shaders. I always thought that this issue was cause my laptop was ass but finally I see the issue for someone else
I always lose races because of the physics rubberbanding that happens when you lag
