Definitely one for our list, been close by but not stayed there. Love the fact you can get straight onto the beach. You had great weather as well, what’s not to like about the Suffolk coast, only just beaten by Norfolk 😂. Best wishes H&M. 😊

For a moment, just at the 10 second mark I thought you'd gone abroad! I'm now convinced I need to move to the south, we've been battling storms, power cuts and flooding and here you are living it large in t- shirts no less! Jealous? Just a bit. Another gorgeous location. Really love all the trees, they don't bother me at all when caravanning better than a bleak site with nothing.

Hello Dave & Helen, Lovely setting with access straight onto the beach 👍. We don’t mind being set up under trees but of course you can get the annoying rain drips, acorns, cookers, bird droppings etc 😁. We’ve looked around a few statics and lodges over the past few years and some of the upmarket ones are tempting. Nice to go away but always nice to come home too, especially when you know the weather is about to turn. All the best, Rob & Gail 😃

Hi Helen and Dave, wow recognised the view of Sizewell, it brought back memories of over 40 years ago. As a child I was lucky enough to be taken to a campsite near the Eals Foot by friends of my parents. We'd go for the weekend, rising at dawn we'd walk down towards Minsmere to watch the Read Warblers at the first bridge, go back for breakfast, then spend all day in the reserve hides. Those few years opened my eyes to the wonders of nature and gave me a life long interest in ornithology. Fealing really nostalgic! We will email shortly, Squash and Widget

I love your videos, Thankyou. It’s great that you say how far places are to walk to eat then we know whether to bother … and if they have hard standing? We have a large heavy motorhome and need to park up, then go on foot everywhere if we have to be pulled out of the mud when we leave, we wouldn’t go 😢

Thanks for all your grounded advice, it's surprising how things have changed. Some time ago you fancied a T6 Camper as a tow car when you saw them at Malvern.. We've got a T6 Kombi Auto kitted out as a day-van so think this could be a pretty ideal tug... Thanks again ...
We were on the same site last weekend so must of just missed you, the car park down the road by the tea shop is £6 for a car per day but a staggering £15 a day for a camper van

Great video Dave and Helen - we cancelled a 5 night stay at beach view Sizewell a couple of days ago due to the impending storm! We went for a walk along the beach and can thoroughly recommend Flora tea rooms on dunwich beach for lunch - in particular their fish and chips 😊
Yes, we’ve had lunch there before and it was lovely. A great little spot. We have never been to Beach View but did look at it. Hope you get away again soon 👍

Welcome back Paul & Joanne, hope you've both enjoyed your time away too. We did look into putting doors on the front lockers but in the end decided against it, thought the gain was probably not worth the work/hassle/cost. Good appraisal As u said showers and cleanliness a mark down. Trees not everyones cup of tea, make it dark and gloomy, dripping raindrops, its Britain it WILL rain, (however as you said u were very lucky)so trees limits your choices of pitches. Its 2023 and wifi still an issue, so again not everones cup of tea. Probably pitch price reflects why its past its sell by date. However good location, with on site food and drink. Enjoy😊

Sent last text early through watching video. I now see it was October when we had the Indian summer. Went to Reedham Ferry site for 4 days Ive tried to get a price for next yr in early May. But doesn't allow me
Nice site, that is a maybe for us out of Summer season. I think occupancy rates on club sites are down now and private sites and CL’s perhaps doing better. It also seems to be the case that more sites are going to charge seperately for metered electric, maybe the same goes for WiFi supply, perhaps the CAMC £5 day rate is a little high, but do not use it anyway. If no 4G available, we just read books or Kindle. Do not watch any TV even at home, only Rugby for now. Maybe go the whole hog and go off grid and as we always use own facilities, site fees can be kept reasonable. As for internet, if Starlink did a 12 volt RV set up, we would get that for home and away. Some techy YTuber has modified his, beyond me though, so maybe Elon will sort it one day
Hi Mel, have to agree with you, the trends are there for all to see. Helen likes her TV I'm deffo more just up for a bit of TH-cam but I'm always on the Internet .
