I like Robert in this particular scene. He's calm and somewhat compassionate with both Tony and Frisco. Sometime Robert can be arrogant and condescending we see that a lot with Cheryl's return to PC.
Again, if Robert and Tony had been honest with what they know with Frisco, much of these misunderstandings, etc would have been avoided but they chose instead to treat Frisco like a child. Given everything he knew by then and had seen, he was not going to ignore Sean leaning over Tony - and, I don't blame him. I would have thought the worse as well. Frisco is constantly letting Tony know he will find the guys who hurt him and Tony still decides to lie to Frisco. Making out like Frisco was just nuts and a loose canon was a really nasty thing to do by Tony - and, Robert but, especially by his own brother. Ugh. This part of the story really pi*sed me off royally. Robert knew Sean was guilty as hell yet treats Frisco like this - Not the only time I didn't like Robert -
I hear what you’re saying- thing is that it’s a vicious cycle: every time Frisco behaves like this Robert likely feels vindicated in his decision not to trust him with sensitive information. As much as Robert knew Sean was guilty, he knew he didn’t have enough evidence to convict him in court at this point. Completely agree with you about Robert knowing Sean was guilty and, in a sense, covering it up though
Am I alone on this I can’t stand Frisco. He is so annoying. When he thinks he’s right he can’t even entertain the idea that he’s wrong. That kind of personality annoys me.
I like this side of Frisco , as well as the softer side of Frisco. Yea he is hot headed but that's what makes his character so diversified. Jack Wagner can show so many emotions from one second to the next. But i must say I started watching the episodes from the beginning where Frisco and Felicia met etc. I remember watching it in 1984 but some episodes I don't remember. I am enjoying watching this storyline which leads to the Asian Quarter storyline. Explains alot why Frisco, or i should say explains the way the writers made Frisco the way he was in later years. The writing was so much better in the 80's. A bit of everything. Comedy , drama etc. Great stuff.
I think Frisco has every right to be angry. Not only did Sean steal the treasure and his actions got Tony shot, but then Sean let Slater go only to have him return to take a shot at Tony in Kelly's with Tania, Felicia and himself within inches of being hit when Robert covered Tony.
Frisco shouldn't have shown his hand; if he suspected Shawn he should have investigated on the DL Now Frisco won't be able to set foot on anywhere near the waterfront or Bobbie's brownstone Because of Frisco's bogus "scuba diver" story PCPD is wasting taxpayer dollars dredging PC harbor for Treasure that's actually in the basement of Bobbie's brownstone
