I never want to dismiss aikido completely and know logically some moves could work in mma, but I would need to see them work this smoothly before I believed this kind of demonstration was accurate.
Aikido techniques come from battlefield weapons work and have been proven to work in that context over centuries of warfare in feudal era Japan. For the MMA competition context you have different techniques that would work better. Also, this video here is just a demonstration where movement is big, smooth and slow - it's done this way so people can see the technique and the proper movement. In real life fight the movement is short, fast, and powerful. Personally I am not too impressed by this demonstration mainly because the uke had terrible attacks
