- In this video I get to review the latest release of the Air Jordan 1 in the Taxi color-way. I'll say outright that I really like these. Jordan Brand & Nike really did something with these to make them FEEL like the shoes we were getting 5-6 years ago.
IMO that's fire, there's no doubt that Nike / Jordan Brand has been raising retail prices while also selling us thinner and sometimes lesser quality leather. They didn't do that with these.

My thinking is that the people who are only into sneakers for hype, are showing their colors. From what I hear, Travis isn’t releasing any more 1s. And I think that is what is killing the Jordan 1 hype. In knowing that there are no more 1s, people are not after 1s as the adjacent to a collaborator’s model. It makes sense given that 4s are starting to get popular again, just like a few years back. Hype moves so mysteriously, but as someone who is a fan of almost all the releases of 1s this year, I cannot wait to toe my pair (after I toe my UNC lows, because I am SUPER excited for those to come in). No complaints from me! Hopefully we all can hit on those L&Fs though… 😅; Thanks for the vid!
Oh! Also! Not sure if you remember me, but I was talking to you about the RF 2002rs Mirage Grey and Navy. Copped both pairs. This year has been all hits and no misses from NB. Crazy excited for my Navy pair to come in. I keep hearing pics don’t do justice. Anyway, have a great one!

Mine has a smaller toe box. Sometimes I do feel like they're fakes but they are legit
really want a pair of jordan 1s but dont think i could pull off jordans, nike restocked these last night and i was so tempted to buy them
I’d say try them tbh. Especially at retail. If you wear pants often then tbh they’ll be great
I still might get these. I like the box. I never wear yellow but it's never to late to expand your colour palette. I both the Starfish high OG which I like more. Everybody sleeping on these are going to regret it. Good shoe for nearly retail. These are better then the Pollen's

Idc if jordan 1 hype dies, been on them before the hype. Secondly, it's the shoe games fault for the hiked prices. Don't complain about the company raising prices when resellers were smoking consumers on hikes prices. It's called competition and like it or not, they hate resellers.
It’s inflation big man. That’s why prices go up over time. In 2007 aj3s retailed for $160. Now they’re close to $220
@@TheSneakerCircle it's probably a bit of both, I recently read a few articles about how nike wanted to combat the resale market and what not.
I caught a glimpse of these at my local footlocker a month or so ago and the pair they had on display was 👌🏻👌🏻 I think QC issues are part and parcel these days, higher prices for the same quality.. shame really but the shoe itself in terms of colour hits right on the money
Yeah the colors on these are nice. Usually with “taxi” colorways we usually just see the yellow and black. But the white hits different with these
Most likely da higher price is due to inflation
yes there are quality control issues because mine came with the insoles not glued in like normal with all jordan 1s nike forgot to glue my insoles and i did get mine from the us drop of the sneaker
None of my pairs have glued in insoles, but they did change the insole from what it used to be. So it might not be a qc issue but just the new normal
@@TheSneakerCircle well i know my mochas my bleach corals and my heritage all have glued in insoles and they are all newer releases i got the second 2 shoes from the drops as well.
@@TheSneakerCircle also it’s not that glued from what i hear with most Jordan 1s just enough to stick in place
never mind i just took the insole out of my heritage to see if i could to try a full zoom air unit insole in the future and the insole came out real easy
my pair has got tumbled white leather on one shoe and smooth leather on the other

Definitely a slept on pair. I know Nike made tons of these cause I have never hit on SNKRS for the past 2 years but I hit on these in a friend's size 🤣

Idk why they’re still sold out in Canada but sitting on Snkrs Brazil & Mexico lol
Also China and other Asian countries seem to also have them on shelves.

I kind of want to double up and I usually only do that with 6s and 11s but my pockets aren't about that life right now.

Big kids and toddler sizes are still available on snkrs and it’s been a week since they released and they’re still restocking in multiple places. Name another big release where that’s happened (¤﹏¤)
