I so agree with you James! It seems inconceivable actually that it doesn’t come with a half bath & stackable washer/dryer, actually! This is absolutely beautiful though with lots of windows( in “my world” lol! the more & bigger the windows, the better)! Really beautiful paint job & LED lighting but as you said James, wish it had those “extras” you mentioned, for the price( necessary, really)! I so love the “living room area & looks like a really cozy living room with such comfy furniture! Love the high ceiling & gorgeous woodwork. This is truly extraordinary! You asked what we think of the floor plan... here goes... I've lived in an RV now for almost 4 years and love the life. For us personally that kitchen is far too small for those of us who love to cook. Not enough counter space for food prep. Once you take the covers off the double sink which is nice the island counter is quite small. Otherwise, great RV, nice features but not my kind of floor plan. Have a great day.
From a practical standpoint, changing sheets in the bedroom would be a major challenge!
We love your videos. Thank you for the well thought video. What I don’t understand is why manufacturers continue decorating like it’s the 90’s. I am saying to myself ‘I’d rip that out, paint that, move that’ and so on. Again thank you for the time and thought that goes into your videos 👍
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe because the demographic is skewed older? Every time I saw the extra detail on the wood I thought how difficult it would be to clean that. I would love to see one with a mid-century modern vibe. Nice clean lines. Also, more induction cook tops, drawer dishwashers and a desk instead of two couches.
If I ever got an RV it would be for full timing, so I am thinking less entertaining, more practical solo living.
@@christinamendrinos3163 I agree more practical for living. A drawer dishwasher would be amazing. I think they stick with gas stoves since, they’re better for cooking and can be used off grid. Induction uses a lot of electricity.
Agree. Since I don’t cook, the extra electricity wouldn’t matter to me. I would always be plugged in anyway. It would be amazing if they had an all electric 5th wheel. Gas/propane has fumes that stick to things.
@@christinamendrinos3163 electric heat would be expensive too if you used it frequently. I do like having options however!
The full body paint is unbelievable. I've seen a few of these going down the road and they always stand out. Beautiful RV!
This is one beautiful unit. We have had many units in our forty yrs. Of camping. The largest one we had was a 38/5 mountain air by Newmar, loved it. But as the yrs go by changes are outstanding. Love the living room, an d the layout through out. Very nicely done with the tour. Thank you.
That woodwork... is simply amazing. While not a fan of the layout of this unit, the quality and details Vanleigh puts in their interiors makes it so I will consider them.

WOW!!!! Just WOW!!! I had the opportunity to view one of these a few years ago and was not ready at the time for a fifth wheel. Motor Home quality! High end features. Incredible wood details. High gloss. Nicer than some homes!!!! If you can't do a Mobile Suites, this is the best alternative out there (Ok.......Maybe Redwood). THANKS BTBRV!!!!!!!
WOW! Although I am not so into all dark woodwork, you are right on with your quality assessments of the woodwork and furniture. And the and bathroom is beautiful! Nice touches throughout!
I really like the front living room.
I love this one. The dark wood finish makes it look warmer. I saw a all white everything. Did not like that one at all. To much white to keep clean!!! This one is Beautiful, I love it ❤️❤️❤️

I like the front living room. The unit looks better than most condos. A great unit from inside to the paint outside.

Enjoyed watching your videos today. I just ran across you upon searching new RV place in Murfreesboro, Tn. Many more informative videos you have I want to watch. Even though I grew up camping fishing with my Grandparents still undecided if I'm going to the beach to new Condo or this Rt. As the wildest thing 4-5 yrs ago upon loss of my Mom I was calling a contractor to do some work here at Her home. He was telling me how he & his Family had been downsizing they're lives to go FT rving. As he stated wanted to see places and with kids and to teach them to live without having everything. I thought how cool is that. Loved his outlook to last spoke to they had just about sold everything and getting ready to hit the road. So unfortunately i never got to meet him and now as i follow so many to love some & hope to meet someday if i go this route. This wasn't a big thing then as I've watched it growing now to even the RV makers so on. So actually I've been watching little more than a yr. As I continue this journey yet old Farmhouse my Mom completely restored added to etc. It's been ONGOING to now to much upon Ins not doing as should and turning into a money pit I cannot continue. As She wanted me to fulfill my dreams and goals always had and done. Now in a position I must make a quicker decision than ever imagined. So looking at homes in Around Fl. She hoped I'd done then to now wish also. But I think I must rent one at this time to make sure. But I tell you what this one is so my Style to condos viewing as these etc. But must go now. To will be reviewing more of your informative I've already saved several. Spent to much time now today. You are doing a great job. Another thing also would be apart of my business to blog. Thank you have a Great Day . Adventures ahead. I would love to do and see the world more. Not sure i can as a Single Woman with 3 fur babies & Some health issues. I've given it all to God in Hope's to Guide me show me where he wants me to be. A widow and definitely not looking to be attached anytime soon. As I have not since loss of Spouse. Another thorough review. This unit has a stand out livery. And agreed, an excellent layout with generous quality. The storage is a shortcoming. So this might make a better weekender or destination traveler than a vacation vehicle.
“ Simply Stunning “ The wood and detail work is amazing 🤩 I’m in the process of selling my home and ordering the Grand Design Imagine 2670MK to NZ . Then a one way trip to the Holiday Park where it will be permanently stationed. ! Very nervous and excited at the same time. Beginning a new chapter. I’m going to physically view this 5th wheeler in a week or so. I need to gage the space etc. I already have a coffee ☕️ station set up in my home kitchen which I can easily set up in the RV lol 😂 most essential ! Very good video review. I agree, the Vanleigh has the nicest interior of all of the fifth wheels you have reviewed. This unit is high end for sure. I love the fact that the bedroom is on the same level as the kitchen, and that there are only one set of stairs.
Nice unit, to bad dealer doesn't spec it with disc brakes, would do the new owner a favor! Also IRS suspension would be nice!

Beautiful. That's the paint scheme that will be on my 42 RDB in about 2 years.
I love the simplicity of the layout but what I love even more is the spaciousness with all residential furniture, appliances and solid wood doors, drawers. This is the first Fifth Wheel tour that it doesn't feel like an RV.
P. S. I'd definitely buy it and make room for a washer/dryer!

This is a sexy rv. I'm also a big fan of living areas being in the front. There's a bit more separation from the kitchen giving it that other room feel. A+ from me.

As someone looking to go full-time in a GD Momentum I enjoy learning about all these other brands/travel trailers. Hey JD, you mind trying to mention more about full-timer features i.e. insulation value, tank heaters, etc.?
If you are looking full time, then you will appreciate the 3 inch walls on a DRV. More sound dampening and better insulated. My dad lives in one full time and says they use quite a bit less propane to heat and electricity to cool compared to others in the park

Cannot go wrong with a Vanleigh but I do wish fifth wheel manufactures would install some sort of nightstand with outlets on each side of the bed as a standard. Not having nightstands in the bedroom is a deal breaker for me.

I really like the 3 inch insulation compared to the 2 inch that’s in this model it makes it a big difference in energy consumption, but it does cost more

I prefer Thomas Payne furniture for comfort. I tried out Franklin, as camping world just started out carrying it. I bought the Thomas Payne.
One would have to be crazy to even consider towing this with a SRW truck.
