Got Questions Ministries has a really interesting take, you should watch their video. Basically, the curse was specifically related to idolatry and when the Israelites repented and turned back to God, the curse was broken. And those who love and follow the Lord will be blessed to a thousand generations. From personal experience, repenting on my knees for my sins, being broken hearted over my sin is the most transformative thing to have a closer relationship with God. Jesus says he makes all things new, when you die to your old life with him, you get a clean slate. All that family history is not important, he is powerful to break any chain. ❤️

I called Jesus the other day he told me he forgives you. Now, he said something about take responsibility for your part & hire a qualified therapist to process the childhood trauma and abuse. He said he'll watch you be responsible because he loves you. Atleast that's what I'm getting from him.
My faith was truly set free after praying for weeks to break generational curses. My Dad was a soldier. We moved every three years. I didn't know my grandparents on either side. Sexual immorality ran deep even though we were raised Catholic and received our communion and baptism. But Catholicism was never there for me. And the love of our Lord was never discussed. I enjoy getting lost in God's word now. I understand the true cost of our salvation. My marriage is strong and loving, our children now know God and our Saviour through us in a way I never imagined. I've even prayed over my son to rid all ill will and evil spirits. These are not just words. I pray for all those who come into contact with me, with all those who read my humble words, that they may know the love of God as we and our family do. I'm the curse breaker of my family, and I have learned by experience that in order to break them you must experience them and overcome them. I've experienced so many of them from depression, to alcoholism to addiction, and sexual immortality etc. By the grace of God Almighty I have won the battle of every one them. I never, ever would have been able to succeed in any of them without my Father holding me in His arms of protection through each and every one of them! It's been a very long road, but He's been walking it with me every step of the way! He is the Way, and I love Him with every fiber of my being! I am thankful that He chose me for this mission! Jesus helped me to fight many generation curses and one of them was in my family. The BLOOD OF JESUS washes away, pure clean any generational curse. Got Questions Ministries has a really interesting take, you should watch their video. Basically, the curse was specifically related to idolatry and when the Israelites repented and turned back to God, the curse was broken. And those who love and follow the Lord will be blessed to a thousand generations.
From personal experience, repenting on my knees for my sins, being broken hearted over my sin is the most transformative thing to have a closer relationship with God.
Jesus says he makes all things new, when you die to your old life with him, you get a clean slate. All that family history is not important, he is powerful to break any chain. ❤️

My faith was truly set free after praying for weeks to break generational curses. My Dad was a soldier. We moved every three years. I didn't know my grandparents on either side. Sexual immorality ran deep even though we were raised Catholic and received our communion and baptism. But Catholicism was never there for me. And the love of our Lord was never discussed.
