When I'm seeking the Lord in word or in prayer these distractions will come my way. It could be in the form of a phone call, a knock at the door, or even a thought to knock me off track of the scripture I was just reading. But if I was sitting there watching TV no knocks at the door no phone calls because the devil has already got me distracted with the television. All I can say from personal experience is if you want to be safe stay in the word of God, pray, fast and be slow to make decisions. I don't have it all there yet and I'm going through some things but I believe that by the power of the Lord in his strength he will guide me through. If he'll do this for me then he'll do this for you.
