Flying RC camera around Mono Lake, Mono Craters, and granite formations north of the lake.

The chain of volcanic craters south of Mono Lake are brand new geologically speaking-some have erupted 350 years ago. Is active terrain with potential earthquakes and eruptions possible in our lifetime. It’s also the youngest mountain range in North America according to Wikipedia and other sources. I am not a geologist so fact-check away. Hiking around the formations north and south of Mono Lake is well worth the effort. The granite formations north of the lake are spectacular and are not on any map as far as i know. This makes them all the more special. The craters are full of Jeffery Pines and obsidian outcrops
