Serves: 4-6 Prep Time: 10 Mins. Cook Time: 15 Mins.
- 4 Thinly Sliced Chicken Breasts
- 1/2 Box Penne Pasta (8oz)
- 1 Container Chicken Broth (32oz)
- 2 Cups Water
- Olive Oil + Salt
- 1 Pint Heavy Whipping Cream
- 1 Tbsp Butter
- Olive Oil Cooking Spray
- 1/2 White Onion, Sliced
- Tri Color Bell Peppers, Sliced
- 1 Can Rotel, Drained (10oz) Optional
- 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- 1/3 Cup Chicken Broth
- 1 Cup Mexican Blend Cheese ( Feel free to use or add more)
- Lime Juice
SEASONING BLEND:
- 1 Tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 Tsp Cumin
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Tbsp Seasoned Salt
This was insanely delicious! My best friend and I are making our way through every last one of your recipes for our families. I am so glad I got to do this one first. OMG. Made this tonight for dinner and it was DELICIOUS! I only had a half pint of the heavy cream so added 1/2 cup of sour cream and a little more broth to make up for it. Will definitely make this again. Thank you!

I made this the other day. I was being lazy so I used one of those fajita seasoning packets that you suggested. I had some sausage that I sliced up and added that to the dish as well. Only thing I'm going to do different next time will be to double up the recipe! This was delicious. The chicken and the peppers had so much flavor. This one is definitely going into regular rotation.

I made this a few nights ago with a few tweeks. EXCELLENT recipe. Sometimes my family will find itself eating similar meals too frequently, so mixing this into the routine was PERFECT. I did have to cut the peppers and chicken into smaller sections(kids lol), and I used evaporated milk, my stores were lacking lol. Everything came together great. You do a great job with making "sauces"
I just made this pasta. It is bomb! I got a little scared because it took a while for it to get thick. (Accidentally added the chicken) I think I put too much salt. Wither way this hood and easy. And I don’t really eat pasta.
Has anyone tried the recipe with dairy free items? I know it maybe a slightly different taste. This looks so good but my husband can’t do dairy
I’ve made it myself with silk’s plants heavy cream as I’m lactose intolerant. I opted to skip out on the cheese when I did it that way and it was delicious! It’s always worth a shot! ♥️
