For those who don’t know , Taybor was Interviewed after the game and said that deebo told moody to “lock in”. Telling someone to “lock in” doesn’t warrant that type of reaction from Taybor. Deebo was holding moody accountable after his THIRD miss, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Deebo never said anything malicious and taybor completely escalated the situation

He was out the previous 2 games with an ankle injury. In his first game back, he goes 2-5 on FGs to that point in the game. This means that Deebo and the offense failed to get in the endzone 5 times already. Moody is talking to his long snapper (Taybor) when Deebo comes to them after the third missed FG. (They didn't go to him) Deebo says "Lock In" (in whatever tone he used) to the kicker, to which the long snapper takes umbrage. He defends his (special teams) teammate from an attack. (We can argue whether Deebo had the right as a captain to go over and yell at the kicker) But then Deebo throws a shot at the long snapper's throat, which is what everyone saw on replay over and over. I don't care if he just missed the game winning kick to send them to the superbowl, you don't do that in public. (Like you acknowledged) That's a grown man who wanted to kick your a$$ for disrespecting him like that. The only reason it didn't happen is because others held him back while Deebo ran away. And there's NO DEFENDING DEEBO in that situation.

One thing missing here is Moody isn't just another football player, nor the long snapper they have very specific roles and don't have much to do with "physical" anything. That's the reason Moody was already out for several weeks because he HAD to make a physical play and got himself injured he doesn't typically do that. This wouldn't look good if both players were typically more physical, but worse given the other two simply aren't. Not sure how you get a kicker to make a kick it's clear as day his injury has caused some issues because he was 13/14 prior to this game and he struggled even on the 4th attempt.
Shady I lost a LOOOTTT of respect for you. You just minimized a part of those who help win games. There have been several times special teams has had to step in and win the game because offense couldn't get the job done and you have the nerve to say they aren't real players. Man be for real. If you want to be real about it, many games would be lost if it were not for the "unreal players". Deeboo was flat out wrong, as a teammate you can hold me accountable but don't let the world know.
The legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas says you have to know the disposition of your fighter when you talk to them after they get dropped. Some guys respond to strong, aggressive interactions, others will fold under that pressure so you have to talk to them a different way. Clearly Deebo thought he was helping more so than harming, and James made a great point in that Taybor jumped into a high emotion conversation. If Taybor had been getting on Jake maybe Deebo wouldn't have had to. SOMEBODY needed to, and nobody even mentioned the fact that Moody has lost us multiple games with missed kicks, including this year against the Rams and did not help things in the SB with his missed XP in the 4Q. I'm a Niners fan and I have no problem with this. Even Jerry Rice said he would fight teammates on the sidelines if they weren't doing their job. Most importantly, the interaction, scuffle, whatever you want to call it, WORKED. Moody hit the GW kick and that's what matters for this team. If Deebo had the chance to do it all over again I doubt he changes anything and I don't want him to.

Most of these games this weekend were won or lost because of kickers. A lot of offense just taking it into barely past midfield and hoping the kicker will save them.

For those who don’t know , Taybor was Interviewed after the game and said that deebo told moody to “lock in”. Telling someone to “lock in” doesn’t warrant that type of reaction from Taybor. Deebo was holding moody accountable after his THIRD miss, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Deebo never said anything malicious and taybor completely escalated the situation

He was out the previous 2 games with an ankle injury. In his first game back, he goes 2-5 on FGs to that point in the game. This means that Deebo and the offense failed to get in the endzone 5 times already. Moody is talking to his long snapper (Taybor) when Deebo comes to them after the third missed FG. (They didn't go to him) Deebo says "Lock In" (in whatever tone he used) to the kicker, to which the long snapper takes umbrage. He defends his (special teams) teammate from an attack. (We can argue whether Deebo had the right as a captain to go over and yell at the kicker) But then Deebo throws a shot at the long snapper's throat, which is what everyone saw on replay over and over. I don't care if he just missed the game winning kick to send them to the superbowl, you don't do that in public. (Like you acknowledged) That's a grown man who wanted to kick your a$$ for disrespecting him like that. The only reason it didn't happen is because others held him back while Deebo ran away. And there's NO DEFENDING DEEBO in that situation.

Here’s the difference though. That lost them the game. The kicker actually got another chance and won it. I have a strong suspicion that if someone got in Deebo’s face and slapped him after back to back drops he probably wouldn’t be ok with this. One thing missing here is Moody isn't just another football player, nor the long snapper they have very specific roles and don't have much to do with "physical" anything. That's the reason Moody was already out for several weeks because he HAD to make a physical play and got himself injured he doesn't typically do that. This wouldn't look good if both players were typically more physical, but worse given the other two simply aren't. Not sure how you get a kicker to make a kick it's clear as day his injury has caused some issues because he was 13/14 prior to this game and he struggled even on the 4th attempt.
Shady I lost a LOOOTTT of respect for you. You just minimized a part of those who help win games. There have been several times special teams has had to step in and win the game because offense couldn't get the job done and you have the nerve to say they aren't real players. Man be for real. The legendary boxing trainer Teddy Atlas says you have to know the disposition of your fighter when you talk to them after they get dropped. Some guys respond to strong, aggressive interactions, others will fold under that pressure so you have to talk to them a different way. Clearly Deebo thought he was helping more so than harming, and James made a great point in that Taybor jumped into a high emotion conversation. If Taybor had been getting on Jake maybe Deebo wouldn't have had to. SOMEBODY needed to, and nobody even mentioned the fact that Moody has lost us multiple games with missed kicks, including this year against the Rams and did not help things in the SB with his missed XP in the 4Q. I'm a Niners fan and I have no problem with this. Even Jerry Rice said he would fight teammates on the sidelines if they weren't doing their job.
Most importantly, the interaction, scuffle, whatever you want to call it, WORKED.
Moody hit the GW kick and that's what matters for this team. If Deebo had the chance to do it all over again I doubt he changes anything and I don't want him to.

The long-snapper is THE ONLY PLAYER that did his job all day! Where was Deebo in the Red Zone all game when they failed? Where has he been ALL YEAR when they failed in the Red Zone. Where was Deebo during the Super bowl when he disappeared? The ONLY Dependable WR on this team, even with Aiyuk, in the Red Zone is Jauan Jennings. Deebo is a gimmick player that only does well against Zone Coverage.
