The story about op not letting his gf wear white to his coworker’s wedding. The gf is 100% in the wrong. While yes the bride can wear other colors and not everyone is strict about this rule, those are exceptions. The bride is supposed to stand out and be special, and it’s disrespectful to not give that consideration. I’ve heard countless stories where someone else wearing white brought down the mood of the bride, at least. Also, her accusing op for being abusing and controlling when he is obviously being respectful to his coworker is disgusting and a huge red flag. She is pushing her opinions on someone she doesn’t know and doesn’t care if she upsets. She hurt and accused op of something so serious. It’s manipulative. She should apologize to op for hurting him. He reacted normally and understandably. He complimented her before asking for something reasonable and she acted unreasonably. Op is not the least the ah.
And saying her disrespectful clothing choice was nothing to do with him - he was bringing her as his +1! She wouldn't have even been going if it wasn't for him and it would have been a mark against him unless she had made her own way there and didn't know what she was wearing. And yeah, some brides might not mind, but that isn't her choice to make. Better to be safe than sorry, but no, she just wanted to cause drama.
If you're invited to a wedding in the 2020s, I think it's your job to find out what the "rules" are well in advance. Respect the bride and groom's wishes, and get pre-approval if feasible. Some brides insist on these old-fashioned rules; some don't; some don't care one way or the other; and some make up their own insane rules (see r/bridezilla or whatever it's called). OP's mistake was enforcing the "no white dresses" rule, when it might not actually have been an issue.

Also quite frankly, the gf wearing that specific dress isn't important at all. The fact she is so stubborn makes me think she is trying to make a statement of some sort, which is neither time or place.
The first guy seemed like he was actually trying to be helpful but went about it in the worst way he possibly could have and tried to help someone that didn't want or need help

And it was actually the husband that brought it up and that he is tried telling Chloe to stop and she would repeatedly keep touching him and going against his boundaries as well

Where I live sign language is an official language of the country which goes a long way in making people realise its a valid form of communication (we have still got a long long way to go though)
Sign language is valid, but certainly doesn't sound like something that would be preferred and used on daily basis, i know i wouldn't want to use it unless it was actual necessity (communication with hearing impairment person) since it's so limiting, might as well just text each other or something.

Deafness is not a disability. It is a culture. They have their own languages, communities, events--singing songs in ASL is some of the most unique forms of artistic expression I've ever witnessed! Anyone who thinks deaf people are any less capable than the rest of us is disgusting and bigoted. I just wanted to put it out there cause I'm sure many people maybe just dont understand how distinct and unique deaf culture and community is.

@AnAmurTiger it's not about distinction because the exact same thing. Bi means you go either male or female and pan means you go with aby option, which is either male or female.
@@jsbgamer21Not quite. Pan means you can be attracted to anyone. This doesn't only include male and female, but also intersex, trans and anyone in between. Bi means attraction to multiple genders, Pan means attraction regardless of gender. A simple google search would have made that clear.
