The girl in the cream and green saree in the front left is super graceful. Executed steps beautifully. Her bends and moves were so graceful. Wonderful dancer.

It is rare to see foreigners learning Bharatanatyam and execute adavus without the foreign accent in the style. The caucasion girl in this video is one example who literally has the Indian girl in a caucasion skin. It is a pleasure to watch!

Was this the workshop where u felt alittle sad that Smt leela samson didn't notice or commend on ur performance? It's totally understandable because my eyes were totally fixated on you,u outshone the rest here. Not nearly anywhere as good a dancer as you but am a dancer too and this needs appreciation

I wanna dance this but sadly no one accept me because I'm American I can work hard I love dancing I was born to dance yes I might be slow but I'm a fast learning but I know there is no place for me I know I am not Indian but my soul is Indian ❤️ .. Judging from some of the comments here, it would seem you are right :( Thankfully I never felt discouraged by my teachers or anyone at Kalakshetra, the school I studied at. Keep doing what you love. You will be rewarded.

May be you need to work more on the expressions, but you will be accepted and trained with full support. Please keep trying!

Why is everyone so surprised at the foreigner dancing ? It's time Bharatanatyam is viewed as an art form that sees no race, culture or creed. Unfortunately it's not, north Indian Bharatanatyam dancers still get treated like foreigners versus our south asian counterparts, who are viewed as Pyurrr (pure) and superior. Ps: She is extraordinary, because she practices and obviously loves dancing. The others are equally good, but the Red Dupatta has the X factor.

the foreigner danced the worst, not at all feminine, the front girl had all kinds of swan like grace....a bit angry with the foreign girl's naam ka vaas forced dance, in the beginning of the video, she sways her hand like shes bored, unbelievable people actually liked her
