3 days @ the segera retreat & game reserve in laikipia, kenya!!

In this weeks episode we travel to the segera retreat & game reserve to discover the beautiful grasslands of laikipia, kenya! The segera retreat truly offers an amazing hint of green space in the middle of the endless savannah plains. Segera maintains a balance of four core concepts: conservation, community, culture, and commerce (the 4Cs). With these core concepts in mind, segera has been able to construct "waterbank" schools and a female anti-poaching rangers academy!!! Everything and anything that encompasses segera gives back to the community and has a light footprint on the place we call home. Fun fact: the segera retreat & game reserve is made up of 50,000 acres of African wilderness (3 times the borough of Manhattan, New York City)!!
