I agree. I thought he ruled for the plaintiff quite a lot more than the defense, but his decisions seemed to be grounded in the law and fair. Having watched several trials closely this year (Darrell Brooks, Alex Murdaugh, and this one) each of those judges, while having their unique style really were fair and thorough.

There's no determination to be made - GP sued for $1 + attorney fees, and the jury decided in her favor. The only thing the judge has to determine is how much the attorneys fees are - which he asks Mr Owen's for a judgment estimate at the end of this video. This will likely not be public.
