    Historically, tax cuts increase revenues to the government. Couple that with tariffs and oil sales, there will be increases that allow the debt to be lowered. Throw in spending cuts and lowering the size of government and you have a plan for economic stimulus and growth.

    • @amberlong5498
      @amberlong5498 23 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      reforming the pay for government officials so they only get paid for the hours they actually work, and making it so that the government and military can buy at cost instead of meeting the usurious and egregious contractors pricing would also help with government spending. The Pentagon inspector general’s office disclosed in December 2021 that TransDigm had received nearly $21 million in “excess profit” on spare parts and the IG recommended that the department should seek a “voluntary refund” - the latest in a series of adverse audit findings about the company’s pricing practices, so why are our tax dollars paying it? Make it make sense. Then the government decided to handout money to everyone, but the American people, money we really don't have, only making the problem worse, while American citizens and American veterans' are sleeping on the streets, begging for the money to buy a cup of coffee or a sandwich. Charity starts at home.

      Exactly. This is exactly what happened during the first term with the corporate tax cut. If we're on the wrong side of the Laffer curve, cutting taxes will increase revenue

    • @JimDeleon-i9u
      @JimDeleon-i9u 21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      No, historically Government taxes are revenue, cutting them is a decrease. 2-2=0. You mean charging tariffs on the goods coming in to the US so that sellers will charge more to the buyers to make up the difference of said goods. Why do you want to sell oil to other countries while complaining the gas is too damn high.

    • @Eluzian86
      @Eluzian86 19 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @JimDeleon-i9u If the government raises taxes too high, the rich who they are trying to take more money from can just leave, and then there can be a decrease in revenues. New York and California are bleeding rich tax payers and they're being absorbed by States like Texas and Florida.
      Tariffs would increase the cost of foreign goods, not the goods made in America. And with oil, the greater the global supply, the lower the overall cost per barrel will go. The price would get lower first from domestic supply right at home that doesn't have to be transported long distances, then will further be decreased by adding more to the global supply through selling some to other countries. That's why Russia would get lower revenue from their oil sales when other countries increase their supplies.

    • @bobprivate8575
      @bobprivate8575 15 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@JimDeleon-i9u No, you're wrong. JFK cut taxes, government revenue increased. Reagan cut taxes, government revenue increased. Trump cut taxes, government revenue increased.
      Too much taxation stifles the economy, which negatively affects government (and our) revenue. If you disagree, then model a scenario where tax rate is 100% for all income groups. The economy would immediately collapse.

  • @michaelbrooks9462
    @michaelbrooks9462 วันที่ผ่านมา +16

    They failed to mention in the video that they plan to cut government employees by like 75% that alone is huge cost and looking how we spend. For instance I was in the military and this was brought up on the senate floor we spend a crazy amount of money for stupid stuff like nuts and bolts. Like we had hardware on a supply bench that was 40$ a bolt. And it wasn’t anything crazy just a steel bolt. So stupid stuff like that yeah. Also we spend crazy’s money on contractors to sit around and do nothing. That alone with out much harm to general public would cut huge amount of money. Also they fail to talk about the USA becoming a net exporter of oil and natural gas again and tariffs be put in place. That with reforming tax’s and cutting income tax for people will help greatly because it will free up spending for Americans and create growth. They plan to cut government and free up individual income and cut regulations on businesses and make energy cheap. Also trump bringing peace talks around the world. Also good not spending hundreds of billions on Ukraine will be a big start.

    When people finally understand that fractional reserve banking REQUIRES that more money be created by the federal reserve through digital printing or through banks. Every time a new loan is created and lent new money is created including credit cards/ govt spending ect. This system needs to be replaced to a United States Note backed by a commodity like gold, silver, oil and lithium not a federal reserve note. The treasury can create United States notes and back them. Until this happens nothing will truly change, it will be simply delayed into bankruptcy. This is my opinion.

    I have a proposal. We have a national contest. We release the entire federal budget to the American public. We hold a contest to find the stupidest use of American taxpayer funds. Elon, vivek and their team sort through them and whittle it down to 10 stupidest uses of taxpayer dollars and we put that in a poll on Twitter with the question; What is the stupidest use of funds out of those 10. To the person who brought that project to Elon and Vivek's attention, they are awarded the money that WOULD have gone to that project. That way Elon and Vivek don't have to look through 20 million pages of federal budget because you'll probably have 100,000 people auditing it for free on the off chance they win the money, We teach people what the government is ACTUALLY spending your taxpayer dollars on, and it'll be done quick, and it'll be cheap in comparison to how much it'd cost to hire people to go through it. The bonus is the fact that Elon and vivek have all the information about the other stupid projects the government is working on that can ALSO be shut down.

    The dude in the video doesn't really seem like he knows what he is talking about when it comes to what the government is spending money on. He acts like cutting a single dollar from the 7 trillion dollar budget would be hard. But the government only spent 2.7 trillion as recently as 2008. Just go look at the difference between 2008 and 2023 and make the budget look as much like the 2008 budget as possible.

    The problem with the way things currently are, is that Even in bad times things are propped up and fake. Made to look better than in is. Then we don't see the problem coming until there's a hard crash... We would be better off Knowing hard times are coming and we can all adjust to it over time till we fix things. Instead what we get is. EVERYTHING is fine... Nothing to see here guys... Then BAM .. Recession.

    Not a lot of people understand how we don't have Wealth Growth without debt. For the total worlds wealth to go up they do print it but they have to make it out of the promised to pay in the future, thus from debt.

    • @pc2555

    • @BlackHoleOfTime

      @@pc2555 Think of it in smaller terms and it's easier to understand. If there was only 1 thousand dollars in the world, you have to make more some how. So when they do decide to add more $ in the system they have to use The prospect of future $$ to pay it off. So the $$ they print becomes a loan that the world takes on in the Debt the country owes and they have to pay interest on. That's where the interest on the debt the country owes comes from.
      The only way the world's can keep getting richer is them adding more debt into the system thus giving more $$ in total. but because there is more of it, each Dolller will buy less and less.
