Great video Emily! But you CAN use the Conflict of Interest with expression. You just have to keep the level knob below the maximum voltage of the expression input. I use mine with my HX Stomp with the level set just below halfway and it works perfectly. If I go too high the values in my HX get stuck/overwhelmed. I also confirmed this over email with Fairfield support. Anyway, keep up the great work. 😊
Thank you! I’ve been thinking about buying the Conflict of Interest since I spent some time with it a couple months ago at the Montreal pedal expo. Was just about to finally pull the trigger when I saw this video and my heart sank! So for sure this thing can be used with regular guitar pedals that have expression jacks?
Haha I love using the last one as a 0HP mixer unit 😁 I've seen some people selling bare circuit boards that can literally float in the middle of patch cables to save rack space, but I like that metal box.
Just got a guitar with a really good trem, so I'm figuring out how to do lo-fi warble and ramp-down stuff sans pedal, yet here again we have temptation anew.
No digital pedals damage will it do "Yoda" yes you probably got it 😁 .. thank you for the heads up 🤘 good info break down for Fairfield nice work you guys 👍😊
I don't have any Fairfield pedals! I still have room on my shelves, so I'm keeping my eye out for any. P.S..I only buy my pedals in the wild, cause Amazon is too easy. Thrill of the hunt and all that....
Ah I want to hear the voltage sag pedal modulating voltage at audio rates, you could use the OBNE MTET to get an MIDI audio rate oscillator from your DAW to send into the sag pedal
i've used the oscillator out from Randy's Revenge with it with great results; though a lot of pedals have internal capacitors for power filtering which can limit the oscillations. still, loads of fun.
This morning I was scrolling through TH-cam and had a thought like “I haven’t seen that harp girl in a while, I wonder what happened” hahahah do you have an Instagram?.
They're utility pedals, dealing mainly with cv and expression, so this is mostly an invalid question. Except in the case of the patchbay, and the attenuator, which are used for audio, and both can be used for either stereo or mono use (patchbay: four mono or two stereo, attenuator: two mono or one stereo).
I mean, it's a very professional demo video, but the big problem with these paid videos is the terrible lack of stupid goofy stuff and parts where Emily and Ross make each other snort/laugh. I understand they're being paid, and that means they have a boss for a moment, but there are people out there that still goof around and have fun on somebody elses dime. You can still get the products capabilities across and make a living at it while having fun (60 Cycle Hum comes to mind) and because it's fun it gets more views. This was so dry I had to have a drink, seriously , lighten up guys.
Benson delay and voltage sag was amazing.

@@ebstooge yes. I do it every day. Have fun!
These are really cool! I love when pedal companies come out with interesting utility pedals, like these! 😄
Can we just take a moment and give Russ a round of applause for the editing 🎞🎬 no easy feat. 👏
Gooooo Russ! 👏👏👏👏👏
we love russ and his hands
For real. Good job, Russ!
Russcam, enhance.
No small feat to cover all of these! Great examples throughout! ✨
Great work, lady and gent. High effort yealds to great effect(s).

Oh my goodness I was worried about you! You haven't posted for a bit on your main channel and I don't think you've streamed! Glad you're ok!
I think the avalanche pedal with it, was a good combo.
But the Mood pedal has the most versatile sounds with its dip switch option.

That Board Member + Reverb demo... "Oh no, I'm going to spend money again"
I've only ever heard voltage reduction used on fuzzes, but by god do I need to hear it on delay more
Love the patches!
Pedal world into modular and back is easier than ever man! Now if we could just get my smart lights to send cv signal….
I love the names - very clever.
Also - since the "Board Member" is included, there is ABSOLUTELY bias in this review. I'll see myself out.
I think I need a PB&J on my desk!

A voltage sag yes or no website would go hard. 😂
omg it REALLY would
Fairfield circuitry rocks!
finally its happening. modular, let me in!

Lol. The X-ray series picture.
Hahaha 😂
2:41 holy shit that’s a fantastic sound

i feel like rubbing my fingies on FC pedals would make them dusty with metal
When u clap the room does a flanger sound
Are any in stereo? Mono is not going to cut it for synths

Could you demonstrate what your idea of a Kamala / Walz pedal might sound like vs. a trump / vance pedal, please?
Wouldn't it just be the meow vs the fart pedal?
@@KemloCaesar 😂I did have the fart pedal in mind for the mindless duo.
Helo vere TOP video, vere show pedals, naise efecctes

to be honest cramming 6 pedals into a short review probably takes up a lot of goofin-off time that would be in a 1-pedal vid
