I just finished watching it. I have to say that I really liked it. First off, let me just point out that the animation was absolutely gorgeous! 😍😍😍 I have never seen such beautiful visuals in an anime that blew me away. The music was also top notch! My only issue is the storytelling. It felt like it went all over the place, and it made some parts in the film very confusing for me. Other than that, I really recommend Bubble. It was worth the wait. 8/10
True. The storytelling wasn't great. It felt as if there was something missing towards the end. I couldn't build a connection to the character's imo. It tried to hard to be sad at the end. Idk i didn't feel sad. Edit: they even spoil the end in the middle of the movie when she reads the book of the mermaid.
Same. The animation was gorgeous and all the action and parkour was so good but the story flow was eh. Not very original and could have been done better. We kinda get to know that it's gonna be like the little mermaid once she reads the book and begins talking. Because she turned into bubbles only when she touches hibiki. For me, the twist was the reason that the bubbles existed only in the central tokyo was because Uta and Hibiki angered the bubbles? But the ending where all of them went to save uta was kinda cringy. Because we don't really see them building a bond with the other teammates. So some of their lines there seem empty. And I didn't get the bubble older sister thingy? Like she was holding her for two minutes and that's it?

However, the problem I find is the story and the characters. There’s some characters in the main group that are just not introduced at all despite always being around the main character that they might as well not even be there. My main issue with the story is that I feel the pacing is a little bit off. Some thing happen way too fast and feel out of nowhere an example being the random “undertakers” that come out of nowhere with no relevance to the story which kind of ruins the movie. Overall I’d give an ~8/10

The production roster for this anime is so stacked. This film easily has the potential to be a 9/10 at least: Araki as director (Attack On titan [he did the levi vs beast titan fight in s3p2], SAO, Death Note) Gen Urobuchi on Screenplay (Madoka Magica) Takeshi Obata as character designer (Death Note) Hiroyuki Sawano as Music Lead (Attack on Titan, Eighty-Six) Genki Kawamura as Producer (Your Name) WIT as Production Studio (Attack on Titan, Vivy, Vinland Saga) Eve for the Opening song (JJK Openings, and many more) And that's not even mentioning the insane voice cast: Mamoru Miyano - Okabe Rintarou from Steins Gate Yuki Kaji - Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan Marina Inoue - Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan Sayaka Senbongi - Haru from Beastars
You know what I like most about the animation? That even the comedic expressions are also drawn in Takeshi Obata's style. There was no need to do that but they did anyway.
The soundtrack by Sawano makes the movie 10 times more powerful, specially when you listen to it afterwards. And how great is Riria as UTA? So unique, emotional and on point.

Unpopular opinion here, SPOILER *** LOVED the animation, it was out of thus world. But i didnt really feel a connection with the characters by the end. The overall story was kinda predictable because they based it on little mermaid. There was a storyline present but I couldnt get involved cause theres too much going on that they couldnt explain further. The mystery of the bubbles was what excited me, but I was kinda disappointed that all of this happened just because the bubbles... got angry at hibiki? Although I still loved the concept of the spiral of life stuff where hibiki and uta "found each other" and promised to meet again someday.
Just think of the weird bubbles as some sort of eldritch god or something. One of them got bored being some sort of bubble cuthulhu and tried visiting earth. Thats what I got on how they visualized the bubble aliens things coming from the 12th dimention or something.

Sometimes an anime comes along and just blows down the doors. This year there have already been two. Belle was the first one I spotted and now we get Bubble. This is going to be one of those anime that warps the expectations of animators and I almost feel bad about it but god DAMN this is beautiful.
They could have made this a 3-4 episode miniseries and fleshed out the story. Everything BUT the plot and character development (which are kinda key for a movie) is top-notch
Just finished the movie. It had so much potential. The animation, visuals, music, and graphics were amazing. My only issues was the vague storyplot. There is just too many plotholes and questions that were not answered. Also I felt there was not enough time to build an emotional connection with the characters. Also, the movie gave a spoilers at the beginning too. However, the concept of the bubble phenomon is really cool. Overall, I rate it a 7/10. Also the opening song is soooo good. I would still recommend people to try this movie out. It may not be the best, but you'll be entertained throughout. (7/5/22)

I just watched it. This movie gave me goosebumps, with all the unrealistic graphics and voices. Definitely one of the best movies out there 10/10
You probably think demon slayer is a 10/10 too
@@Kaiysur Actually.. I haven’t watched Demon Slayer yet 😅
Wit Studio X Eve = Perfection
The production roster for this anime is so stacked. This film easily has the potential to be a 9/10 at least:
Araki as director (Attack On titan [he did the levi vs beast titan fight in s3p2], SAO, Death Note)
Gen Urobuchi on Screenplay (Madoka Magica)
Takeshi Obata as character designer (Death Note)
Hiroyuki Sawano as Music Lead (Attack on Titan, Eighty-Six)
Genki Kawamura as Producer (Your Name)
WIT as Production Studio (Attack on Titan, Vivy, Vinland Saga)
Eve for the Opening song (JJK Openings, and many more)
And that's not even mentioning the insane voice cast:
Mamoru Miyano - Okabe Rintarou from Steins Gate
Yuki Kaji - Eren Jaeger from Attack on Titan
Marina Inoue - Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan
Sayaka Senbongi - Haru from Beastars
u mean levi vs kenny?
@@rateme6166 correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure he did both
@@thesighingdutchman1827 ah maybe, i meant s3p2 was the levi vs kenny scene not levi vs beast
Arifumi imai made those two scenes bruh
It all depends on the story not the fing animation a movie will never consider above w
5 if only it's animation is good
The soundtracks and animation are giving me chills
0:22 The way she says hibiki is just truly, man no words! It's sooooooo kawaiiiii
Lmao weeb
Cringe as hell :I
Just like yo mom
I'm so happy to hear Eve's voice in more anime's all the love is definitely well deserved!

You know what I like most about the animation? That even the comedic expressions are also drawn in Takeshi Obata's style. There was no need to do that but they did anyway.
Eve makes so much good sound tracks man!
The soundtrack by Sawano makes the movie 10 times more powerful, specially when you listen to it afterwards. And how great is Riria as UTA? So unique, emotional and on point.
Wont lie, hearing Uta’s tune when she sings or hums it, gave me so many goosebumps
This looks as good as Ponyo I’m so excited to see this 🙏🏽💜
This trailer and animation gave me straight up goosebumps. Seeing the names of the artists who all made this masterpiece animation made my heart explode. This. Is. Absolutely. Amazing.
☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
THE GREATEST MEN WHO CREATED HISTORY IN ANIME WORLD ARE COLLABORATING TOGETHER TO PRODUCE A MASTERPIECE WITHOUT A DOUBT!!
I can't wait to watch this work!!!!!! 😍😍😍
Just the fact that Gen Urobuchi and Sawano work together on this makes this movie a great World Heritage Site and a masterpiece of this century!
Just finished watching. It was absolutely beautiful. One of the best feel good movies I've seen in a long time.
I got goosebumps here. This very get "We Are Still Underground" Eve's music video vibes really well. And Eve make an opening for this movie, I so glad and happy to know that. This movie really fit him.
this better get a part 2 or else my dreams of uta and hibiki living together with no problem will be shattered
im willing for a long wait and waiting for part 2, anyone with me?
*Sawano behind the OST*
Me: Ah... This will be a blessing for my ears.
*Eve behind the main Theme*
Me: YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME?! THIS MOVIE WILL BE A DAMN MUSICAL MASTERPIECE!!!
STOPP what was that!! I'm getting chills from her ah ah ah. THE ANIMATION IS SO DOPE
I LOVED this movie. Its got low scores online but the animation, the music was STUNNING and i loved the two main characters and the spin on the little mermaid.
netflis pretty much assembled the avengers of anime to create this, and all I can say is THANK YOU
Honestly this was a really good and emotional anime. Also that humming theme is mesmerizing…
I can't wait for this, the colors and the music gave me CHILLS
I cant get over how beautiful the close up of Hibiki and Uta's face was.. out of this world.. 😍
I literally had a feeling that "E ve" was gonna do a song for this new anime, when they first released their other trailer!! I'm so happy that they choose him for this!! 🌌🎧💖
Ikr I'm so happy they chose eve 😍
Do you know the name of this song?
@@ritikvyas3217 bubble ft uta
These visuals and OST are very soothing for my eyes and ears 😍
Wit will always better than garbage mappa god I hate mappa
@@emperordouma4967 why MAPPA hate?? I think it's pretty good studio considering they are animating CSM this year which will probably break internet.
@@firemax8738 i don't like the colors and details of mappa anime it looks like all anime of mappa are from 2006 it just looks too pale without nice colors
I like Wit or Ufotable much more because more beautiful details and beautiful colors
I think that Wit studio's decision to leave Attack on Titan was the best one. They gived us such amazing works like Vivy, Vinland Saga and Ranking of Kings. I hope this will be as good or even more
it was a cursed and a blessing, they almost went bankrupt because Attack on Titan got the mainstream popularity
@@inyour_wetdreams only in an animation studio where you can go bankrupt because the project that you make become popular 😂. imagine toyota have to declare banktruptcy because they have to sell more car. It was just bad management
@@pachimari360 same I loved AoT seasons 1-3 as WIT had such a unique style and season 4 just isn't the same without them. The characters don't look the same
They dropped vinland too though and gave it to mappa, idk whats going on with them
@@bellion9143 no the same animators are gonna work in mappa on vinland saga mappa has no hand in the project
Look bro I don't CARE about the animation anymore this art style is so beautiful.
I SWEAR I CRIED FOR SO MANY TIMES EVERY TIME I WATCH THIS MOVIE.
The ending of this movie will make you cry.
From “WE ARE UNDERGROUND” to a whole movie. I hope WIT and E ve continue collaborating.
I have watchen it, and im already obssesed! I give it 10/10. The graphics, story, feeling is so awesome. Especially utas melody voices! Its so pretty 💕
This is why Wit Studio is my most favorite Anime Studio
So excited for the Movie 😍
The Staff is stacked plus Wit Studio animating this Movie
This fit perfectly to eve's world kinda looks a lot like some of his animated songs
Death Note character design + AOT animation + VIVY visuals = Bubble 🤯🔥
eve’s song fits this so much cuz of how he loves destruction in his mv❣️
and WIT STUDIO i rlly cant wait😭😭
One of my favourite movies with your name, silent voice. Good job WIT Studios, Impressed like always. 10/10
The animation....the transition! WOOOW!
LITERALLY GIVING ME GOOSEBUMPS ALL AROUND ❤️❤️❤️
Best anime movie I’ve ever watched!! Trust, happiness, pain, family love, and true love are included all in this video! Worth to watch plus it has a funny and cute characters😭💗💗💗
Written by Gen Urobuchi.. it's gonna be so good 😭
This looks like its gonna be a real Makoto Shinkai-esque spin on a slice of life, really looking forward to this release
10/10 visuals, animation and soundtrack
Although the Plot could’ve been better. This should’ve been a series instead of a movie. Still good though.
I have similar thoughts. Great artstyle and animation and a good soundtrack but all let down by a half-baked plot imo.
Unpopular opinion here,
SPOILER ***
LOVED the animation, it was out of thus world.
Just finished it, nearly cried 9/10😢
Just finish watching this anime today and dude this anime is tearjerker ngl my tears wont stop flowing😭
Netflix has been doing great these days. I can’t wait🥺🥺🥺
Go watch it, your eyes deserve it. The animation is so beautiful, it's like eating steak, but for your eyeballs. Wit Studio absolutely killed it.
Well it's like eating a plastic stake. Looks amyzing but is not tasty.
@@Leprutz Agreed. Like an incredibly beautiful cake but its covered in fondant. The story was terrible.
@@toastyreviewer6889 well the Story itself was only terrinle cause it was,t it,s Main Focus and it is noticeable. But the base Idea though was great. But an idea itself doesn't, make the telling better.
Very good metaphor with the cake full of fondant.👍
The way you tell the anime is good is if it has a good intro. Can't wait to see it!😃😃
So worth checking the trailer, EVE is such a good music artist
Sometimes an anime comes along and just blows down the doors. This year there have already been two. Belle was the first one I spotted and now we get Bubble. This is going to be one of those anime that warps the expectations of animators and I almost feel bad about it but god DAMN this is beautiful.
Seems im missing out on some gems, what 2 anime where that good, i want to see kind human x
This style is so breathtaking and gorgeous!! I just watched this movie today and I'm in love😭❤❤
the fact is has gen urobuchi & eve i'm so hype
They could have made this a 3-4 episode miniseries and fleshed out the story. Everything BUT the plot and character development (which are kinda key for a movie) is top-notch
I agree it would have been better that way plus they closed the plot off completely so probably no sequel sadly
i loved everything about this movie! I love both anime and parkour and I loved how they were combined in this film. Not only was the animation stunning, but the music and storyline fit perfectly! Definitely at the top of my list this year :)
Man this teared me up so much i just finished 😭😭😭
Finished watching it. The animation is literally incredible. It was so beautiful and made me cry 🥹🫧🐚
Eve-san will sing the song of this anime. It's a movie made by good directors and its drawings are very similar to the music video for the song "We are Still Underground". I can't wait for this!!! 🤩
This year feels like the golden year for anime world 🔥🔥🔥I am really happy like all other fans and waiting for it
This gave me goosebumps (in a good way). The art style is really beautiful and fluid.
I just found this IS SOOO GOOD I WANT THIS TO STAY FOREVER❤
