Please read the description of just the one city of New Jerusalem and you will begin to have an idea of the magnitude of the glory to come. I've seen the claims in the bible about "Heaven/New Jerusalem". They are just words...including your own, actually. It sounds good to say, "more beauty than you have ever seen or could imagine",....but what does that even give me but yet another thing which isn't known, just presupposed. And all because people long dead made those claims. But still,...IF a "god" exists and there is an afterlife in a "Heaven",...there's no way to actually know if you'd really be okay with it. Without actually knowing, I couldn't make any decisions about it.

It's like a bush person that's never been out of the jungle trying to understand brain surgery or rocket science. You can't reason your way through it. That's why God gives us faith.

Try listening to Ravi Zacharias. He might be helpful for you with the reasoning portion. Then simply ask God, sincerely, to reveal Himself to you. If you aren't sincere, don't bother. He knows your heart.
These guys could have walked away at any time. But shows them how powerful the word of God is

Nick _7 - I read first couple chapters, years ago in “MC”, and now know it blew my mind I had to think on it for years. I’m very stubborn. I give it to the Lord more and more, the more I do the more he has shown me, by placing Great Teachers and Real Christians and the ability to see through those that are not using the Whole Word.

God bless you guys and I am looking forward to meeting each and every one of you in heaven and hearing about how the Lord saved you and how He used you to advance His Kingdom! May I just say, I am extremely introverted and I have a very hard time witnessing, but continuing to watch Ray share the gospel for 2 years now has helped me immensely. Also, do NOT underestimate the power of prayer! The power is not in us, but in our God that we pray to and Him working in us, remember that as you share the gospel.
