I wish I had heard you 30 years ago. I wasted my life chasing happiness doing my own thing. Now I have very little to show for it. God is all that is left to look forward to.
You have lost everything that don't matter. But if you have GOD you have everything that does matter. Everything brother. I MEAN PLEASE!! What if you gained the whole world but have lost your soul. There is nothing worth our souls outside JESUS CHRIST 😀Brother I'm 49 and I was blessed to have a beautiful home, wife, vehicles, hunting rifles, dogs comfortable life on and on and blessed by MY LORD GOD AND SAVIOR. My wife who was a wonderful woman , cheated on me, left me, and crushed me. Each year after that everything I had posession wise slowly went away because I was so devastated I pretty much had a mental break down. I drifted away from my GOD. But HE WONT!! LISTEN CHRISTIAN! THE LORD WILL NOT LEAVE YOU IF YOUR HIS!! I never in my wildest dreams thought that could possibly happen to me. Be warned, you have no control of your own life. Then I was diagnosed bipolar disorder and no longer had a mind that could take care of simple tasks. I was married 10 years and now I have lived 13 years since all that happened. I now have nothing to show for anything, brother and I mean nothing. Nothing absolutely nothing. A couple pair of shorts, pants, shirts 2 pair of briefs and shoes. I just named all my possessions. I have lived with my GODLY loving dad since then. But I will tell you that as tragic as all that is MY LORD GOD AND SAVIOR ABOVE has made me to lean on HIS MIGHTY HANDS EVEN MORE and it's absolutely caused me to be closer to HIM. It was horrible what happened to me but GOD used it for good.
I’m not a believer and I own things like cars that I actually paid for ,I rent a house I have a job, you just have to work it’s not hard and I’m not a good person by any means to you’re rules, now I don’t drink and gamble cause that’s a waste of money to me but I do smoke the herb but I pay for that habit and I don’t have a girlfriend or plan on it cause that cost money too, I’m trying to live my life without all the problems I see other people have, but my life is good I’m happy I think a lot of people are jealous or don’t like me cause I’m happy all the time but I have a couple friends tho, you see people online that hav hundreds of friends but they aren’t you’re real friends, I actually talk in person to my friends and they got my back, the one guy at work he says I’m going to be shoveling coal in the after life but I’m fine with that I work hard anyway cause that’s all I know is work and have fun but this dude is no better then me but it’s ok to judge me cause I don’t believe, I thought you weren’t supposed to judge, I’m sorry for rambling just explaining myself haha, hey I got TH-cam videos you can see all the fun stuff I do like rock climbing, shooting, exploring, what do you people do “hide in your house and watch tv” ya that’s what god wanted you to do, I’m being sarcastic on the last part if you did know

The hardest people to talk about God with are Catholics. I was a Catholic since birth but I managed to keep the baby and throw out the bath water. Now I read the Bible every day and I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned and how much my life has improved.
This is so frustrating. 😭😭 people are so scared of accountability that they will literally go to hell in order to not accept they are guilty at all. I’m rooting for them to take a second look.

Just amazing. Love the videos of Ray comfort. Watching him work; his brilliant style. I went from Catholic to questioning, research and searching for answers. I heard a voice say to me one morning, "you've read so many other books, why not read my book"? Now I should explain I had been praying for answers to my questions and seeking comfort during a challenging time like so many others these past 19 months. He answered my prayers/questions and I have been educated and comforted through his written word. When I watch Ray work its a beautiful thing to behold. God finds us where he knows we will listen. For me he knew I would understand his instructions they were just for me. Ray is planting seeds. I pray they take root and produce good fruit 🙏 through blessed shepherds gathering his precious flock.
One thing that really convicted me was when Ray said that inordinate affection is loving a gift more than the giver! I really gained more love for God as I realised that what I was doing was like getting a gift from a parent only to hide it away and use it for secret misdeeds, what is the point? It would only damage the relationship with my loving parents to keep such secrets. I have been looking for ways to die to myself and seek God's kingdom of Heaven first, and this is one!

The guy doesn’t want to live forever because he is aware of the futility of life and that you will never find ultimate happiness. However God is infinite. Meaning you can enjoy infinite pleasure with God because He is infinite. There are infinite ways to enjoy God and heaven and you will never be bored and always be fulfilled.
Totally agree. I think one of the Satan's greatest lies is that reality is finite and that nothing actually matters. Only when one understands the infinite nature of reality does one begin to understand that every thought, word, and action matters.

I really enjoy listing to Ray Comfort share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with people along the way. Whenever I share Christ and I ask people are they born again, are they save and they would say yes. I always felt like I didn't complete my sharing of Christ with that person and going further with the person in a true personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior.. Now that I've been watching Ray and his method, I understand I wasn't connecting with what they believe and what was actually Truth for them. SO, I really appreciate these videos, they are helping me to go back in to do a better job and sharing Jesus Christ.

This helps me so much, because I was struggling to preach to catholic friends. Its a bit harder to accuse them of sin.
Yes when you believe baptism, confirmation, and the sacraments save you that is a spiritual "Brick Wall" only God can break.

Wow! I just balled my eyes out with tears reading this! I would seriously love to have a conversation with you about love. I remember seeing your interview on The Fallen State with Jesse Lee Peterson, and for the first time in my life I saw a Christian who didn’t just preach the Gospel, but everything I read about love in the Bible; I saw that in you during that interview! I have been wanting to reach out to you for a while now but I thought, “ How could a man like Ray Comfort pay any attention to someone like me?” I have felt rejected almost all my life and in return, I have silently rejected myself and others without realizing it. I am now 25 and struggled with my relationship with God and people silently. Even though I desperately want to follow Jesus something keeps pulling me back. I HATE it because the root to a lot of my problem is the lack of love I have for myself and others. I want to love and be love but I don’t know how to go about it even after reading the Bible! For the first time in my life, I saw a Christian who didn’t just preach the Gospel but showed it in his behavior! I am sure there are a lot out there but there were something about that interview that made me want to reach out to you! Anyways, sorry for the long message. Both of these people said they weren’t Catholic anymore... there are so many practicing Catholics who have a real relationship with Jesus and who truly know they are saved by His sacrifice on the cross and nothing else!

Love the honest response from these guys. The younger man not wanting to give up his sex made me chuckle. I pointed at the screen and said "THERE IT IS". We each have our favorite sins we want to cling to. It's 2021. I pray both these men got their hearts right with God.
I really resonate with thus guy with a Catholic upbringing. I'm in need of some advice. Lately, something has been pushing me to open my heart and discover my faith. For a long time I've blocked religion out and even now I'm finding this extremely difficult. So, I was born in northern Ireland, my father was raised Catholic and my mother was raised protestant but by the time they had kids neither were very religious and so they decided to let my brother and I make our own decision as we grew. However, living in the countryside we hadn't much choice in terms of influence and entered a Catholic school. Chapel attached, daily prayer, that sort of thing, and I am certain we were the first non Catholics who attended this particular school. We were accepted and even encouraged to join in, but we were given a choice. My brother chose to stay apart from it all, choosing to stay and play over joining classmates at Chapel. I followed my friends and tried very hard to understand. Unfortunately I was faced with some pretty extreme rejection as the priest singled me out and constantly verbally abused me, I honestly had never experienced anger in anyone until being involved in Catholic Church, he made me feel like I was going straight to hell just by being born into a non Catholic home, despite me being there willing to learn. I still recall the redness in his face as he yelled at me day after day. Fast forward to secondary school, again, Catholic. Everything was grand apart from again, being singled out by our religious studies teacher, by that point I had rejected all desire to be religious and I didn't take any bullying to heart, in fact I had learned to stand up for myself. After leaving school I never thought about religion or Christianity again, until now. I'm a mother myself now and I'm 28, and despite my rocky relationship with religion, I've began questioning whether or not giving up on it all together was the right path, I'm almost sure that it's wasn't and I really don't know where to begin.

People can be very naive sometimes, and they don’t realize they have been going down the wrong path until life gets hard . I hope I can preach to the public one day too. But one needs to be brave enough to stand up against the wrong. You’re changing people’s life, I hope God continues to use your life to save others!😄

This bicyclist was not dead and came back to life. It’s tragic how little most people know about their own anatomy and brain function. There have been numerous neurological studies done that even after signs of life have disappeared based upon our ability to superficially determine a person appears to no longer function, the brain continues to function a number of minutes after blood flow ends. When the brain enters that state there is no internal sensation of time. So memories etc can flood the brain in a matter of seconds and it could seem like hours. Too many people seem to have concluded once they leave high school learning about themselves and the external world ceases.
I love hearing peoples' explanations for an after-life, who God is, etc. It is SOOOO funny!!!
Honesty has to be a sign of a potential prophet! If someone is dead in their sins and STILL tells the truth (even when there is zero benefit) that just seems like a sticking point after they receive the Holy Spirit.

God is not just a judge, He is first and foremost a Father. I suggest you reread the parable of the prodigal son. God will not judge as a mere "court judge", but as a loving Father would judge his son/daughter.
God is the judge of all. John 1:12 is but one example that God's children are a subsection of humanity. The prodigal son is part of the subsection and not the all. The joy of calling God Father is for those who believe and have righteousness imputed to them.

One question I have that nobody can seem to logically answer is how can I bring myself to become a christian when there have been so many people in the past/present/future who will never have the chance to read a Bible or hear the gospel? How can I reconcile in my mind the fact that all of those people will go to hell even if they helped others and lived a moral life? I can't. I've tried and studied many hours, but I just can't bring myself to do it. I hope to hear from somebody.

How sad to hear the surfer defend fornication and perversion - because he is speaking for an entire generation or two - the same people that think that if their sexual encounters cause pregnancy they can just run down to the local clinic and take care of that...and that guy on the bike who thinks he has died and come back but has no understanding of the Living God -- SCARY that he thinks that way - and we know there's more folks out there like that!
God bless Ray Comfort for doing what he does! I wish I could be more like him! I have only one issue - when he tells people they need to repent, I'm not sure what he means. I haven't heard him explaining that repentance is a 'change of mind,' a complete 180 degree turn - stop running from God and start running to Him. Sometimes, whether intentional or not, the word 'repent' is a hammer that may cause needless offense. It's a word that should bring JOY. For me true repentance occurred the moment I recognized how I could never cleanse myself of the stain of sin, and at the same time realizing how GOD LOVES me so much that He took care of it all for me, and there was nothing I could do on my own to earn it, I just had to accept it! Such relief! I went from persecuting the cause of Christ to blessed surrender, and jumped straight onto our Father's lap! Repent does not mean, at least for a few of us, that we are delivered of all "bad habits" immediately - although that can, and has, happened for some. Not that we don't want that! Not saying it wasn't provided at the Cross. I wanted to be rid of anything and everything that was an offense to my Abba Father, but that's not how God needed to work His purpose in me and He showed me 'Why.' He is a loving Father...and for me it has been a process. He works all things for good to those that love Him and are called according to His purpose...trust Him.

I agree, I find the way he describes repentance very confusing. It makes it seem like you have to suddenly stop all sin and anyone listening, in my opinion, probably thinks well I will never succeed at that so why try. But in reality to repent means to have a change of heart in terms of recognizing you are a sinner that needs God's forgiveness, and that you are surrendering to God that you WANT to be obedient now and invite him to change your nature, and he does change our nature and desires. But there are still struggles with sin. I get that Ray is basically saying, don't just profess "sure I believe in Jesus, check!" But instead really surrender and make him LORD of your life and endeavor to live in step with the spirit. But his brevity on the topic makes it very confusing and I'm always surprised people don't ask more questions about what he means.

One thing is that does tend to be a bit irritating that I see among a few male pastors is the tactic that was used here when the surfer guy talked about how women were seen as property in the time of the old testament so you used the metaphor of not drinking and driving as a similar principle to not have sex before marriage. I agree... But doesn't it end up giving him ammunition if you then compare a woman to a car? That's regarding her as the same as a form of property. Why not simply say that not drinking and driving is the same as not having sex before marriage without placing the "woman as a gift" to a "car as a gift".

Our Mother Mary. Mary is the perfect example of obedients. Mary crushed Satan when she over Adam and Eve obeyed God giving birth to God's son our Lord Jesus Christ. Crushing Satan beneath her feet.. Yes, we as humans need to look at what our Blessed Mother did in obedients to God... That we could only for a second be as obedient to God as our Blessed Mother has been. Watching her sweet son die a brutal death for our sins.. The Blessed Mother so loves us, she prays for us. Trust me my friends, if you don't repent and your here for the second coming, Jesus will judge us accordingly..
