My favorite Naruto character hands down. In terms of strength of character, Itachi was the one I consider to be the strongest in the series. He took a terrible sacrifice upon himself to prevent a war, made himself out to be the villain to leave his family's good name untarnished, continued to protect his home after one of its elders pushed him to make that sacrifice, died trying to strengthen his brother, and even after he died, he came back to save his home again. I like that he's such a powerful character, and his wisdom is off the charts, but it's his ability to be so completely self sacrificing that makes him so amazing to me.
