The first three minutes of this song are epic. After a while it becomes a typical jam song, but when that shuffle first starts to slide in, what a great feeling.
just can't understand why this work of shawn phillips is so much underratet. it contains one of the best bassline i ever heard in my life. i was born 1958, and love music from the early seventies till today ( hardrock, jazzrock, psychedelic and bluesrock to).
one of the greatest americans a genius your music drive me crazy i just listen ballad of cssy deiss it,s remind me starway to heaven from led zeppelin greetings from the new of the last fan
A friend got this ablum new and copied it to cassette for me when I visited the year it came out. It ranks right up there as one of my best auto-reverse, three-hour drives home. The other was with James Vincent's "Space Traveler."
For everyone who doesn't know, the legendary hip hop producer J Dilla flipped this intro a superb song, "That Shit", recorded with favorite A Tribe Called Quest. Check it out.
I went digging for this album for a number of years at various locations (Northern and Southern Cal)...never found a copy (Yet)...props for posting this
I like to think there’s an alien gliding through some part of the cosmos onto an unknown destination while cranking this up on some otherworldly speakers.
Dilla who? Jay-Dee brought me here. amazing ...like hearing through dillas ears a song I would have never came across in my life time if it wasn't for his music ability.

¡SUBLIME! Rest in Funk Paul Jackson.
Why isn't all music like this?
Because it doesn't sell? Because people are morons? Because there's only one Shawn?
There's only one Shawn and he's a Texan. Not an English, Italian, French, New Yorker or a Los Angelino, but a Texan!
Igal Flint so why do u have ZZTOP and Dubya? Hey, just askin' Hey I'm Canadian.
