I think they may have patched the sword fly exploit - it either puts me on the starting plate after 8 combos, or stops my forward momentum after 7 combos.

Help! 6:20. I keep getting stuck on the bridge. I start walking back across, but right in the middle i keep hitting an invisible wall and i can't go any further, then a few seconds later the bridge disappears and i fall to my death. It happens right at your 6:20 position. My titan and hunter both stop walking forward, march in place for another 2 seconds, then fall to their death.
It's a punch on Bungie's face for all their patches and nerfs... And now I wonder if it is yet possible to do. I still can't sword fly to the ending on abyss..
Looking back on this, idk how I ever managed to do this. Although I'm a titan main I did it on my hunter, all I did it for was the flawless clan raid trophy because that was the last trophy I needed for the platinum lol. Good times...
What part are you having trouble grouping them with? A big help is "luring" the Ogres while you're about to stagger Oryx at first. When you jump down for the stagger, you want to jump up and down a few times and grab the Ogres attention so to they move closer towards the middle trying to get an angle on you. Another thing will be the Ogres on the side you're going to kill first; you want them to be at a literal 1 hit threshold so you can jump down and kill them instantly where they are so they overlap (you generally want to be killing them both with .5 sec or so, falling down and killing the two). Sometimes they're apart but you can kill the first one and then jump to the other side so it walks towards the other, but often not worth.
I know about the luring part I try my best for that part. Its after the stagger that messes me up. Most of the time i kill the first two with little error. However, when i go to enrage the 2 other ones, either they are two far back or i end up taking two much damage while im getting them enraged and I end up dying to the vessel
Well shit, since someone pointed out to me that Solo Crota is still possible for Flawless raider (I was under the impression self-res was the only bridge strat left) and since I’ve gotten into solo Flawlessing Dungeons, looks like I’m going back into D1 to finish what I started and claim that last achievement I regrettably missed out on when it was easy as hell.
Enjoyable to watch but when I plant my arse on the gaming chair to even think about mimicking ANYTHING I saw here, I fall back to reality and head to Archon's Forge or the crucible to wait for my usual fireteam to get home :) Long live pro/MLG gamers. Kudos!
Dude, Amazing achievement! I've been watching this for days and thanks to you I have mastered the Abyss and the bridge jump, I get it right every time! But, I have NEVER once yet crossed the bridge back in over 200 attempts.. I finally learned the timing, when to leave the bubble as the bridge forms, but at the 3rd jump during the bridge cross, I hit an invisible wall exactly half way that pushes me back, and as I die, I see that the swordbearers sword is still there on the ground! So he is still dead! I saved the video! Have they patched it like a couple of weeks ago or something? Can anyone please confirm that the bridge is crossable on titan still? Please? I really want to do this :)

I think it had the perk that regens health, life support I think it was, he was regening health before getting the chalice of light…I think that scout had that perk. All the times I ran this with teams years ago I don’t remember the chalice being a thing in the 390. But clearly it is.
At the very end as you are launching the last rocket blast, it looks like the oversoul had detonated because the screen starts to go dark, obviously it doesn't finish is because you survive and kill crota, but is there some kind of delay between the oversoul going off and it killing you?
with the first sword swing across the bridge and you kill the first blue knight, can you still hide at the light pillar and wait for the two orgres to soawn, kill them and then everything else despawms ?
How come during the bane of the swordless you periodically stopped blocking with the sword. I understand blocking reduces the damage taken greatly so why unblock during such part
xavier Schmidt the damage is done in ticks ever second or so, if you block the whole way you'll move to slow and die, if you unblock between ticks, you don't take damage whilst you're unblocked and can get to the other side safe
I'd hate to necro a two year old video, but can you this be done *without* Twilight Garrison? I have yet to have that exotic drop for me, unfortunately :(

when you are in the throne room killing the adds you get hit by a knight which knocks out your shield. how did you regain it before going to grab the chalace when you are under crotas presence.

Marvin Spradling if you don't kill the Swordbearer and have their sword sitting on the ground, there's an invisible wall in the middle of the Bridge that blocks you. It only removes while the sword is on the map, so you need to kill it and time your move to be when the Swordbearer is dead and the sword is still on the ground.
@Esoterickk how do you run your plates? is it just listen for the two ticks then run off and run immediately back on? mine are very fussy about not forming the bridge... god I wish I got flawless before the patch... :(
Yeah I listen for the two ticks and move just before the second tick hits, run to the skull and immediately back in. That timing seemed to be the most consistent for me. The longer/shorter you stand on the plate and the longer/shorter you stay off will impact the timing

Edit: just got across the bridge for my first consecutive sword! 6 hours of grinding in and first taste of real success... now practice. Again and again and .... My bridges keep deconstructing before I get to them or as I step on them. Any tips? I am fine if it stays up, I've got the jumping walking blocking rhythm down to a tea. Just my bloody bridge keeps switching off as I step on or just before my fourth jump :(
What I want to know is why I drop like a stone after turning when sword flying. As soon as I turn to line up with the bridge plate, my forward moment just *stops* , no matter how many combos I do after turning.

Hey, I wanted to try and solo oryx. I have the ogre killing down but I need help with the grouping and detonating. Any advice?

Same problem - the bridge builds but when I enter it it begins to deconstruct itself again
