This is not a lantern for Halloween young lady , you are terribly mistaking , because THIS is a work of art . You are insanely creative and even more insanely talented . This is not only beautiful, this is soulful , you really created something magical and we can feel the emotion in your work. You truly communicate something with your work , that's why you are not just a craftswoman , you are a true artist . Thanks a lot for sharing this , and never lose your humility and genuineness , even when you start making millions . This is pure raw art , soul and talent right here .
No thank you YOU for bringing some magic into this world , you are a unicorn we need more of your kind . And sorry for my typo i corrected my mistakes . I think i was a little too enchanted by your work . Thanks for answering , keep on being a lady of the arts , you have a new real fan here . Greetings from Iceland .
They are sincere words , whatever you might be going through , put it all in your art , this is what makes it special (to fill it with emotion) , and remember , as Cezanne once said to Van Gogh art is its own reward because it creates freedom and generates pleasure for both the creator and the appreciator . And Van Gogh could hardly pay for his meal every day but still threw his money , energy and passion at the canvas .He sold only one painting in his entire life for what in today's money would be the equivalent of 100 dollars . Yet, today he is remembered as one of the greatest artists who ever lived . Keep on creating, no matter what, a gift like this yours must be used, but don't cut your ears Maive !
Damn how do people know exactly what materials to use to expand on their knowledge to create even greater things? I loved this video so much and I wish I had the creative knowledge to do even half of this. This is just mind-blowing.
Perhaps start with something small like a wishing well or even a tiny house using baby food jars. I'm completely new to polymer clay, so that's what I'm going to try. Also try benches, stone walls, birdbaths, gardening tools, etc.
That is incredible. You are so talented. This house is so amazing. I really love the look with the little light inside, absolutely perfect. good job. 👌👌👌
Fantastic jar house, just perfect for all my grandbabies' fairygarden. Your instructions are very easy to follow so thank you for sharing your wonderful talents.
Lovely house! I haven't watched it through, but tried to check, so maybe you did it : wouldn't you need to make a hole in the lid and roof to ensure the heat to escape?
My heart nearly seized when the horrifying thought occurred to me -- what if the lid sticks?? Oh. EmGee. I seriously feel faint! Can you WD-40 the glass to ensure that never happens? Yes, these are the things that keep a grandmother up at night. Gorgeous! And yes, I would totally live there, too.
When I decorated my first jar when I started with polymer clay in 2011, I didn't apply any FIMO Liquid (or other liquid clay) and you could literally pry it off the glass with no effort at all. It was only a few flat cupcakes on the glass but you could take them right off because it was as if you'd bake them on a tile or baking tray, does that make sense? FIMO Liquid acts like a glue that bonds both surfaces together. I heard some people use PVA glue, but I can't tell you if that works or not, because I haven't tried it and I don't think I will. You could try doing that (if you can't get hold of liquid clay) with a small piece of clay on a jar and see what happens. Hope this helps :)
which brand of polymer you're using? what can you recommend for small details like the window frame or the tiles? I think my clay is way to soft for sth like that. thx :)
You couldn't use a real candle in there, because there would be no air for it to survive and because it would burn the clay with use. That's why I mentioned, both in the video and the description, that an LED TEA LIGHT must be used :)
It was very helpful. My eyes were nailed to my finger. Using aluminum foil as the material, making the roof and the foundation of the house, the texture also comes out, and it is wonderful.
Wow! What a fantastic job. Your use of painting techniques really made this project shine! I am super impressed at how much detail you added. I can't wait to try making one! Thanks for taking the time and effort to share it!!!
It's simply wonderful! You have so much talent!!!! With this video you did a really good job and everything you did seemed so easy. I don't know if I will ever try to do this fantastic project. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.
Love this one. I really like how you made your stain glass window. I also like the way you made the roof. Great video, and how you explained each step. Thanks
This is a great idea and also well done one. Been thinking of making lanterns out of jars, but never got to it. This might be the video that pushed me to it!
Im happy you talked about EACH step, it helped me see that you spread a clear "glue" on the surface BEFORE you apply the clay. I guess that's what I did wrong first time. all my clay fall off after baking and I was so mad I about gave up....thanks for your tutorial, I'll try again.......making a fairy garden and I need a "house"......
Yes, without the liquid clay you can peel the clay right off the jar. You need something like FIMO liquid, Translucent liquid sculpey or bake and bond.

I've seen dozens of videos of fairy houses. Many of them were more "fancy" but none were more beautiful and real in its feeling. Very well done!
Thank you. Well everyone has a different style that will resonate with different people ^_^

Thank YOU for watching!
Lovely house! I haven't watched it through, but tried to check, so maybe you did it : wouldn't you need to make a hole in the lid and roof to ensure the heat to escape?
Thank you. I used an LED tea light, there's no fire in there.
th-cam.com/video/v0awoJU7eEo/w-d-xo.html
not going to use an open flame
there wouldnt even be possible to use a flame in there if theres no oxygen. Also small LEDs dont produce heat.
you are an artist that inspires as she creates wonder. Outstanding! I'm very impressed.
Thank you very much :)
You are very talented. I love this. I would have this out year round not just Halloween.
Thank you :)

Excellent job you make it look so easy I luv it
Would it stick without the fimo liquid? I mean maybe it's a stupid question but I need to know :D

Maive Ferrando thank you for the explanation:)
Ketty Forest you could also make your own liquid clay. any liquid clay would work. you just need that binder. :)
Holy moly - this is perfection!
Thank you :)
which brand of polymer you're using? what can you recommend for small details like the window frame or the tiles? I think my clay is way to soft for sth like that.
thx :)
Adoré!!!!

I'd like to know the motiv of the dislike!?!? I dont undestand.
You couldn't use a real candle in there, because there would be no air for it to survive and because it would burn the clay with use. That's why I mentioned, both in the video and the description, that an LED TEA LIGHT must be used :)
Because some people are dicks.
idem , who can dislike this .
Jealousy, because they didn't think of it first and because it turned out great. don't even worry about people like that, they're just mean spirited.
absolutely Swan
I love how she did that it looks hard but easy good work
Double double, toil and trouble... fire burn and cauldron bubble...

It was very helpful. My eyes were nailed to my finger. Using aluminum foil as the material, making the roof and the foundation of the house, the texture also comes out, and it is wonderful.
