Hey Ocean, looks like the BPM is getting automated, possibly on the master track. If you Right Click the BPM at the top you get a "Show Automation" option. You can also see every track's Automation by going into Automation Mode. There's a keyboard icon that is selected on the top right of your menu (its currently orange to indicate that you've turned Computer MIDI Keyboard On). This icon means that you can use your laptop keyboard to play MIDI notes so that pressing "A" on the keyboard plays a C MIDI note. If you temporarily turn this icon off, you can press "A" to look at the automation lanes for each track instead of playing MIDI notes.

Hi Ocean... glad to hear you're trying Ableton.. At the end of the day though it should always be about using the DAW that best serves your own way of working... BUT... I hope you give it a good go before deciding. Something very important that I picked up on your last Ableton vid and this one was your mention of the DAW's appearance. Ableton doesn't look flash, but music production is about functionality, intuition and familiarity.. bro please, change the theme, everyone says that ableton is ugly, NOO!! the default theme is ugly, change to dark or install some... I Use FL and Ableton and Ableton just wins in everything, too much pratical and easy to use
Wow, I literally changed to abelton. Within the past day. This video popping up I think is foreshadowing that it was meant to be. 🎶 🎉
I almost when Ableton back then because it was 50% off during quarentine. I went with FL instead because they dropped flex and I was hyped for that.
whatttt is that bass guitar kontakt library??? so clean
Best DAW
i learned how to use FL and after watching people producing on Ableton i got used to it easily
When you import midis you get a question if you wanna import tempo and time signature, if you click yes Ableton will put automation on that midi. That's why it sounded strange when you played your imported midi.
switching to excel is crazy🤣
I need to learn this I've had the lite version installed for a while
I am a long-term fl studio user but I like ableton because it is better to use live. So, it is a tool to be used for the best job. Great video.
Great video ocean, ive been using logic pro for years,i have an old copy of ableton and i have used it about six times,at first i could not get my head around it,it seem bit long winded, but one thing i noticed is that ableton is a very powerful daw, which i liked so i think i need to spend a few months day in day out to use it.i rate ableton.peace bro
I start whit Ableton a few months ago, and its really inspirational, the worflow ist stupid simply, so i star make my beats on it, and mixing in other, S1 or Luna
A big fan❤️
welcome gang
In studio one you can change the hotkeys to a different daw curious if ableton has that feature?
No
For the second beat: which kontakt banks are those paino and bass guitar? Sound awesome
resample to blend sounds 🤯🤯🤯
look into resampling in ableton
YESSSS next level
The edmization began...
I might move to Ableton
proud
You can just resample master channel if you wanna consolidate both as one audio clip
The great part of chopping samples in Ableton 12 is: there is no clicks! Ableton auto fades everything for you… you can tweak it to fine tune it but you don’t have to.
wow the 140bpm sample is perfectly in sync without doing anything ....
:D
