I totally stumbled across this while searching for the song alone but this is so much more interesting. I don't understand ASL but it is very fascinating to watch. Her shifting expressions from care to pride to victorious and bitter through the song, I just love that.

Such a twisted song. Son, You're the proof of how my brother cheated on his wife... I love King Arthur stories, and how much more twisted they are than people realize!

This is amazing to watch. The expressions and gesticulations (and the ASL, which I don't understand but appreciate regardless) combine together to tell the story in the song very well. Also sudden jumpscare at 1:35, very well done.

Excellent acting along with the ASL!! I know that translating songs into sign language is controversial, but this style does seem appropriate to me, since it’s so clearly storytelling.

This is so cool! ASL (and other sign languages) are a choreography of their own when it comes to music.

The captions say "mysterious flutes". Are those actually flutes? They sound a bit more dynamic, and almost like they are made of wood compared to the flute I played growing up.
    Amazing song!

She alludes to Uthor Pendragon’s betrayal of her father strongly throughout. Morgana’s father had been one of Uthor’s generals who helped him win the Crown. During the victory celebration, Uthor met her mother, who was the most beautiful woman in the realm, becoming absolutely obsessed with having adultery with. The general chose civil war over willingly becoming a cuckold.
After a month, To end the War, Merlin reluctantly agreed to aid Uthor in raping the General’s wife via deception by magically disguising him to look like the General so while he was away fighting, Uthor could just walk in & seduce her while she thought it was her husband. THAT was how Arthur was conceived! Morgana in turn dedicated her life to avenging her parents’ honor, regarding Arthur as inheriting the sin of his father’s betrayal of her father.
Mordred had only ONE grandmother, & his grandfathers were bitter enemies.

For me, it's the song, the child is innocent, yet he must pay the price for his father's betrayal.

@@terminallove3531 well the song is a real fictional story it’s a dark story mordred being the son of king Arthur or lot who is the spouse of Arthur’s sister depending on who you talk to and I’m not saying the story isnt dark or messed up but gross is not a word I’d say

      Mordred has only one Grandmother.
It’s really all about how Uthor betrayed Morgana’s parents & how Merlin helped him commit rape by deception.
Sacrificing a son to avenge her parents seems counterproductive. Poor Mordred was basically raised to hate himself, the blood of his grandfathers clashing in his veins.
