A very passionate version, the sonic equalization of the musicians is not comparable to that of 2013 and even before the concert at the Metropolis (it takes more presence of the low frequencies of the drums and Hammill's guitar must be more "behind"). Saint Guy is able to rhythmically adjust any error. I challenge the vast majority of drummers to succeed in this feat. Hammill's "silence" is exciting, as well as part of the closing section. Even if Hammill only would only spoke on this spectacular sermon, the effect would still be guaranteed. Childlike Faith in Childhood's End is a masterpiece and live as exciting as ever (never? Considering the times we live I Intend...). Thanks for posting the video.
Claudio Milano or else he thinks in Portuguese 😜 Wonderful commentary. Childhood Faith in Childhood's End is the Gospel of Mankind according to Hammill! LSA many thanks for the upload.
-i- was standing in a high position and could see Guy evans held everything in balanced position--during amsterdam gig just after the reunion, long ago haha Melkweg? he was in control of the whole Thing mittelpunkt concentrated /held the momentum in-Tact great
Incredible how Guy is/has been the integral "brain" of this music. He sounds like the ultimate power-chamber musician, and as fresh as a dew-picked enthusiast. Unreal.
Right on! It's rare for someone to be able to pull this off so late in their career. I'm lucky to say that my vocalist, keyboardist Dad who just turned 70 this year, has still got chops too. It makes me appreciate this performance even more.
Beautifully minimalist. His voice is just enough.

Such a funny beginning of such a serious song! Thank you (again!) for sharing!
P.S. What a "Silence"!
"Calma, calma!" :)

I challenge anyone to do this at 72 years of age 🥴

There are moments when I want to cover my eyes, but they're hitting all over the place and still getting to the finish line.
Peter Hammill, my favorite worst guitar player....
Agreed. One of my favorite bands ever yet I'm not afraid to admit that Hammill is just an awful player. But his lyrics and voice on the other hand
@@fanaticaldueling6337 totally agree bro like Leeches Daddy know what I'm saying?

ah, it was all going so well and then about 8:15 happens. ;). It's to be expected and it's all good to me !!
