Since I don't use eyebrows to cook, I never thought about yours. I truly enjoy your content - exploring new foods, new techniques, and sharing heartwarming stories.
You know you’re pretty much perfect when the worst comment internet trolls can find to hurt you is to say “what’s up with her eyebrows”. Love you, Beryl!
Why are people so rude!!? I just want to express I found Beryl a little before Covid hit and I thought the show was fun... and after Covid hit and the world shut down I was so starved for a friend group I actually looked forward to seeing your very welcoming sweet face! I think her warm upbeat personality is everything I needed to get me through such a stressful time. Love the hair, the brows, the eye when you first take a bite of something and those neato earrings. Thank you Beryl for just being real and being unapologetically you!✌️💓
I don't get it. Just to seek attention via spreading positivity seems like a new trend. Nobody is rude to anyone here, particularly, in the comment section. People need to have maturity and understanding that just like different flavors in our food, there are people with different perspective. Just because some people are straight forward and not superficial with their words, say things honestly, just the way they are or appears, this is what makes the world interesting & actual humanly.
Beryl, once someone posted your pic in an "eyebrows" subreddit and literally every single comment was to the effect of, "you leave her alone, she is a gem."
is it because they are bushy? (I have the same and hairdressers are always insisting I trim them) or because she has mild strabismus? Either way leave Beryl alone
I don’t even see the problem with her eyebrows. And I’m not trying to be nice and not notice something, I genuinely don’t understand what peoples problems with her eyebrows would even be? What are people saying about them?
You just have natural full brows. In a world full of fillers and filters, that's becoming something unique. Plus the fact you are a DELIGHT to watch. You have the sweetest face and the most beautiful eyes, their colour is so special! You are my go to channel when I feel down, you inspire me and you lift me up. You and your channel will never become "old" to me! Thank you so much for being who you are, doing what you do, and staying true tou your beautiful, warm self. So much love from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 ❤
I love how much you feature the actual videos from ppl who submitted the recipe. You give them space to tell their story. It's part of what makes this series so good, not only the diversity of foods themselves, but the diversity of voices as well.
What the hell?? I followed you over from Great Big Story and have watched almost every single one of your videos, and never ONCE have I thought about your eyebrows. Honestly, what is wrong with people? Thank you for the fantastic work you do making the world feel more connected!
Same, my eyebrows are shaped very differently from hers and I put effort into my eyebrows daily because I love having shimmery or glittery eyebrows because I am a sucker for sparkles, and I've never once thought about her eyebrows in particular. She looks good and normal and it's joyous to see how much good food delights her. It's like Emmymadeinjapan, Guga foods, and so on, you get to learn about interesting foods and you get inspired by their appreciation of the food!
What?? Your eyebrows are perfectly fine. I don't understand why people are so needlessly negative. You are lovely, Beryl, and I enjoy watching your smart, wonderful, genuine content. Thank you for being you 😊
I would guess that most of the complainers are older, haven't kept up with fashion and so haven't noticed that all the trendy 20something lasses now have fuller brows!
beryl, you have gotten me through some of the most difficult times!! i am a full time night shift nurse & have seen some hard days, but your bright soul and fun videos are a part of my morning meals after a long shift. thank you for your humor, honesty, and beauty inside & out
Don't let stupid comments unsettle you. I have two neutral observers here: my two sons, 7 and 10 years old, and they have never said anything about your eyebrows. But they regularly want to see your new video, even though they don't even understand what you're saying. They only speak German. But they think you're likeable and great. THAT'S what impressed them. Not just any eyebrows.

Yes, people who have been obsessing over content about "perfect eyebrows", and seeing how difficult that is to achieve, not realising that there can be different kind of "perfect eyebrows", for a specific face, or as a facial feature that is central in how we convey emotions. Beryl's eyebrows are clearly defined, making them perfect to convey her reactions and enthusiastic personality.

Beryl, you're right. There *is* something really special about a really delicious dish, from another culture, that you can get from the aisles of your supermarket. And that happens over and over on this channel. (Now, it also happens that I'm running all over town for some ingredient I've never known of before! And that's also very special.) Regarding your eyebrows, my gawd, people are something else. As our moms told us, "Ignore the bloody fools." Well, that's what my Liverpudlian, other-side-of- the-tracks, mom said. 😅
@@BerylShereshewskyI remember the video with the $40 ingredient, and how the company called you to ask why! I laughed, but inside, I cried! I mean, $40!
The best part about your channel is that we get introduced to so many different kinds of food! Of course i can look at recipes by myself, but these are things i don't even know exist! I love your channel, my favourite recipes I've learnt are Cilbar eggs and the Ful madame beans. I also love your eyebrows, you have such a gorgeously expressive face that shows what's happening in your brain and on your taste buds which makes you such a joy to watch enjoy food. Your eyebrows are perfect contributors to all that expressiveness!
I love watching your videos and have tried several of your recipes. I would love it if you could do a soup video. I think it would be interesting to see how different cultures make soup. Most people I know associate soup with warm cozy comfort.
Beryl, love your videos and would love to see a cookbook of all the wonderful recipes you’ve made on your channel. Adding stories from the people who submitted them would be awesome. Thanks so much. 🌺😊
For all those who are fixated on Beryl’s eyebrows, just know that many of her viewers love the quirkiness + animated facial expressions of Beryl’s. It’s one of the many reasons why I adore Beryl (besides the amazing food content, of course 😂). Beryl, thank you for your amazing channel and videos. You have elevated the food culture. Without having to travel across the globe, you have introduced a way for us to cook, eat & share international cuisines right in the comfort of our own home. God bless hun ❤
I love Indian food, the cucumber pancakes look amazing. Actually, I can see why all these dishes are favorites of yours. I enjoy watching Beryl cook and her genuine reactions to the food.
I am writing this as I eat it. The cucumber pancake! *chef's kiss* OMG! what a hidden gem! its gonna be a frequent one on my snack list from now on!! Thanks Beryl!! :D A small tip! pair it with mint yogurt 🩵
My eyebrows are wild... garlic taste varies...fresh to store bought, types and sizes. Used whole sliced, chopped, crushed, diced to pressed. A whole show in its own. Love this quick favs.
I’ve just had my first anaphylaxis as age 39, so I’m watching people eating risky things from a far until I figure out what tried to kill me! But I just want to say, this channel is inspiring and makes me want to try new dishes and Beryl - you are the bomb and even though your eyebrows are *fine* you are SO much more than your eyebrows. Don’t listen to the mean-sprited, thank you for giving us joy!
Thank you for all of your videos! It is exciting to see real meals that people eat around the world.. and even try some at home! Thanks for keeping it real!!!!
Absolutely love the videos you produce. My students are constantly hearing that in order to be a better cook (and a better human), then you have to understand people and their food outside of what you know. 10/10, always gonna recommend
I never noticed the eyebrows and now I can't look away from them. Absolutely nothing wrong with them. They're expressive and, now, after my attention has been drawn to them, utterly compelling. Congratulations on a great selection. Very cheering episode for a sad and gloomy day. Thank you..
You are gorgeous inside and out! Haters be trippin’… they’re jealous of your natural beauty, wit, success, many friends all over the world, and luscious food. Go off, Queen! ♥️🤗
I watched this video this morning and immediately decided to make the ema datshi for lunch because I had a bunch of jalapenos needing to be used. I subbed an aged swiss cheese because I didn't have Amul. OMG, this dish is so good. I will be repeating for sure.

Hi Beryl! I don't think my family has ever commented here, but we wanted to let you know that we found you in 2020 and we have loved your channel since day one. My daughter looks up to you, and it breaks our collective heart that folks can throw so much shade online towards you. Our hope is that you can feel the love from this community, us included. All the best!
We love you Berly. I love to cook and your channel has opened up the endless amazing dishes from around the world and instructions on how to prepare them. I love your channel. Thank you Berly.
the korean mayak gyeran and japanese oyakodon from the egg episodes have become staples in my household. so easy and yummy! thanks for bringing these recipes to us beryl!
Those Korean marinated eggs 🥚 , and the Lebanese chick pea pita chips recipes look really tasty. And I might try making that Italian “grandma” dish, with zucchini instead of eggplant and parsley instead of dill (or fennel fronds). Because that’s what I like, and cooking 🧑🍳 is all about making food you’ll enjoy. Thanks for this inspiration!
Beryl, I love your eyebrows! I love your face, the way you laugh, the way you decorate your table before taking food photos, and your wooden spoon collection. I especially love your earrings and how you make the effort to match them to the topic of your episode. I learned about so many different countries' food after you started this channel. Heck, I even learned so many of my own country's (Sri Lankan) recipes because of you 🤣 Do you make the earrings yourself? Where do you get such cool earrings?
I love your videos (GBS) since the one i watched on the plane way back before Covid. Your videos is wholesome. You are be as you are, that one is the one i love you most! Keep doing what you are doing, we always love you. 🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️
I’ll be trying all of these. They look so good! Also, if you have an instant pot, it’s the only way I soft or hard boil my eggs. They peel perfectly each and every time.
I have been watching you non-stop since your great big story days. A big part of that is definitely your beautiful eyebrows and the expressions that come with them. It was also so great to see that a pune/marathi dish is one of your favorites right now! :D Krish Ashok (a food content creator who delves into the food science behind Indian dishes) talks about how Maharashtrian food is the most texturally diverse in India and it was so fun to see Arya and you both mentioning the textures in the dish!! I love dhirdes so much it's staple for us.
Firstly, Beryl, I love your eyebrows! Mine are practically nonexistent, so I could only dream of having brows and lashes like yours. Secondly, I was absolutely thrilled, THRILLED, I tell you, when you started your own channel after Great Big Story went away (for a while, I’m glad you brought it back). So thank you. For your recipes and your fabulous eyebrows! 😊
I really enjoy your videos. I've learned so many new recipes! Rather than boiling eggs, try steaming them. I eggs into a steamer basket basket in a pot, add water to the bottom of the basket but not hot enough to touch the eggs. Add as many eggs as you wish then cover the pot. A glass lid is best so you can see when steam starts. Turn the temp on medium high until you see steam begin to condense on the lid, then turn to med low and set timer for 14 minutes for hard boiled. Turn off immediately. To peel the eggs, take a jar and add a couple table spoons of water. Drop 1 or 2 eggs into the jar at a time, then shake the jar vigorously to release the shell from the egg. This will happen pretty quickly. If the shell is stuck, you can easily peel once it's all cracked up. It's 95% foolproof! 😊
Would love to be your neighbour! Oh the aromas that must waft from your window on a daily basis... yummmmm! You are an everyday person trying everyday foods from other everyday people from all over the world. Looking forward to your next episode!
I started watching your channel since COVID hit I have been a fan since and never once have I ever noticed your eyebrows until you mentioned them in this vedio. They are actually very beautiful beryl . Your channel introduced me to so many cultural dishes and I've tried some of them and have loved all of them thank you for that. Keep doing what you do ❤ Love your channel.
Hi guys. Love to everyone and Beryl's eyebrows. I'm a fanatic about crunch. I have dry cereal with a glass of milk (and often on its own) the way to avoid soggy chips is to have the chips seperately and in this case I'd make a dipping sauce out of the chickpeas and the rest. That way I get the crunch in EVERY bite. I know I go too far. But the Crunch Spirits know what I'm craving. hehehe. I guess all we make at my house are grandma dishes A Sicilian friend of mine once fried breadcrumbs and used it like Parmesan. Be Well everyone. Hugs from Mexico Jim

My husband and I enjoy watching your show and we love everything about you, including your eyebrows. they're great just like everything else you are. You're very gifted and entertaining and you have a wonderful personality. 💜
I've been watching your channel since the very first one, Beryl and it's absolutely still one of my favorites!! 💜😋🌶️✨
Hello! I love your channel. I always learn something. You handled the eyebrow question with your usual style, grace, and humor. Congrats on PBS.
Thank you for the written recipes Beryl you are so amazing you inspire me so much!
I loveeee how wholesome and inspiring all your videos are ! ❤
Love frm Malaysia 🫶
*chef's kiss*
OMG! what a hidden gem! its gonna be a frequent one on my snack list from now on!! Thanks Beryl!! :D
A small tip! pair it with mint yogurt 🩵
Beryl you are a little ray of sunshine in my life ❤
🌞 ❤️
Beryl, you are the best!!!! we love you the way you are, perfect!!!! cheers from Argentina. Fede :)
I love seeing what other cultures eat! Food unites us all. I’m excited to try these! Thank you for the content…and your eyebrows are just fine.
I recently fell down a rabbit hole of Beryl fan fiction. Beryl in a post apocalypse adventure is brilliant!
Five terrific recipes! Thank you for the introduction. Starting with the eggs today.
My five year old loves your videos Beryl, we love watching you, and I have learned so many new foods that we keep on rotation in our household!
I'm absolutly loving what you are doing! Thank you for all the great videos and recipe Beryl! ❤
The dish from Bhutan is incredible. My very British kids love it. Thank-you x
I'm so glad i found you through great big story. Your own channel is so much more exciting!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I thoroughly enjoy watching you cook and taste all of these unique recipes! It certainly helps getting the creative juices flowing ❤
Love the look of th cucumber pancake… cucumbers often end up as leftovers and this would be a great way to use them up!
I watched this video this morning and immediately decided to make the ema datshi for lunch because I had a bunch of jalapenos needing to be used. I subbed an aged swiss cheese because I didn't have Amul. OMG, this dish is so good. I will be repeating for sure.
You’re getting your own show on PBS??? I’ve must have been under a rock I did not know this! Please share more about 🙏🏼🥰
Yes! I did a season 1 over on the PBS Food channel and they bought a season 2 which I’m filming now! It’ll be out this summer!
@@BerylShereshewsky wow Beryl that’s so amazing!! I’m so glad they spotted the best talent on YT! Your videos are filled with so much fun and laughter! Thank you for sharing! You’re one of a kind🥰🥰🥰
Hi Beryl! I don't think my family has ever commented here, but we wanted to let you know that we found you in 2020 and we have loved your channel since day one. My daughter looks up to you, and it breaks our collective heart that folks can throw so much shade online towards you. We wish you the most heartfelt thanks for having you here and breaking through the noise of negativity. We look forward to every post as you open our eyes to the world.
You could definitely chop up your pita chips, put them on a cookie sheet, and bake them
OMG, I love your snoopy sweater! Also your channel is delightful😊
Love this unique idea of yours for a food site, Beryl, Love your personality, attitude, & especially your eyebrows‼️🤗
You are a delight to watch. Smart, educated and absolutely perfect in and out. We are lucky to have you educated us and make us laugh.
Thank you for all the recipes!! Can't wait to try them :)
Your eyebrows are BEAUTIFUL, forget the haters. This channel is about food not eyebrows anyway. FOCUS PEOPLE.
Heck, I even learned so many of my own country's (Sri Lankan) recipes because of you 🤣
Do you make the earrings yourself? Where do you get such cool earrings?
Wow this channel has grown so much!!! I hadnt stopped by in a while. Amazing and congrats!!! ❤
I love your videos (GBS) since the one i watched on the plane way back before Covid.
Your videos is wholesome.
You are be as you are, that one is the one i love you most!
Keep doing what you are doing, we always love you. 🫶🏻🫶🏻❤️
Beryl, your eyebrows are more than just "fine". They are lovely and match the rest of your lovely self! Congrats on your new PBS show! Much deserved!
Beryl’s shows are so enthusiasm plus. Love her and her food. ❤️❤️❤️
I’ll be trying all of these. They look so good! Also, if you have an instant pot, it’s the only way I soft or hard boil my eggs. They peel perfectly each and every time.
Thanks for sharing these recipes! LOVE that Death Cab for Cutie t-shirt!!
You are gorgeous inside and outside. ❤❤❤❤ Love your peaceful content.
Keep doing what you do ❤
Love your channel.
Hi guys. Love to everyone and Beryl's eyebrows.
I'm a fanatic about crunch. I have dry cereal with a glass of milk (and often on its own)
the way to avoid soggy chips is to have the chips seperately and in this case I'd make a dipping sauce out of the chickpeas and the rest. That way I get the crunch in EVERY bite. I know I go too far. But the Crunch Spirits know what I'm craving. hehehe.
I guess all we make at my house are grandma dishes
A Sicilian friend of mine once fried breadcrumbs and used it like Parmesan.
Be Well everyone. Hugs from Mexico Jim
Your reaction to a bread, cheese and guava paste dish has had me obsessed with it for over a year. I just keep forgetting to make it😂
Oooooh, is that in this episode? I’m reading comments as I watch 🤣 LOVE guava paste with cream cheese but my international store seems to have stopped selling the paste.
