I work at a really busy Starbucks and I can totally relate! It is so hectic and sometimes stressful but I’m hanging in there until I graduate😭 I wish you the best at your new job💕

I don't like working there. I mean, it is a good job if you are good working under pressure, quick learner and fast in general. I have none of those things and I'm struggling a lot... I really want to quit but I just have to resist a bit more.

I quit too my SM was acting like a highschooler out of Mean Girls. So Cliquey and JUDGEY! She would roll her eyes at everyone. I dont get paid enough to age regress to middleschool daily 😅

I heard youre a customer service rep, are you allowed to tell with that company? I do have another offer, before my interview w Starbucks, but I just think that I will go to the Starbucks interview to cover my bases. What did you wear to your interview?

Yeah girl it is! I’m sure you can get more hours but bc it’s geared towards students, 20 hours is full time. If you’re at a location with a lot of people it’ll be hard to get more hours but you can always pick up shifts!!
I will be doing the same thing the job is stressful enough but dealing with constant bullying is too much for me

Lol if anyone has questions I can help and rant as well because I have so much to say and rant about sbux and have been there since September 2012 and still currently employed since it’s very hard to find a job. But any Questions too I can help. Also working as a supervisor.

what does training week typically look like, if you don’t mind informing me?
@@iahmarielle usually training is planned out by either your supervisor/ certified barista trainer or manager, but they have a paper layout copy that tells them what they will start with first. Usually they have a set calendar of training and I want to say most of the time they start you training on register(POS) and usually it is split from computer training 4 hours and 4 hours hands on training. But most of the time I would say asking for more hands on learning because it’s easier and better for my partners and they have said too hands on learning is way better and faster to learn than running modules and computer scenario training. You can always ask your manager maybe before your shift or after or on your lunch to have a one on one talk about supporting for furthermore training. Then again maybe your supervisor will ask you when you start day one training in the floor where you feel most comfortable to work on that. Or they might suggest to work on the area you are weakest at. Let me know if I was able to clarify I cAn always help more! Don’t forget to apply for benefits 401k, health insurance and stocks! :)

sorry, i’m a bit confused about the story... did you ever work a shift because you said on your first day of training you ended up getting another interview?
You’re fine! And yeah I had a shift but it was just training so I was filling out paper work and learning drinks etc

how was the orientation for starbucks?
It was very laid back tbh... a lot of sitting down looking at modules and then you get a tour of the building and meet all your coworkers. You also get to taste test coffee which is nice lol😎
Starbucks refund system SUCKS.
