I know Henning as a street musician in the cologne city Germany. Even there, his voice ruled everywhere. Without a microphone or else, just a man with a band in the street. Super awesome
Musicians are still rare. And everyone who can make music is amazing. But when those people come together with their wooden boxes, guitars and voices. Man, I'm left with tears of joy in my eyes. It's beautiful.

Thanks for doing a reaction video to this song! It is fabulous, and your appreciation of it matches my own---the harmonica is rocking! I read somewhere that these guys spent an hour or more checking spaces in that building to find the right spot to sing in,,,very special, to hear that wonderful, clear echo. It is definitely the best version of Roxanne that I've ever heard.

I like how they sing in advantageous locations. I see it in many of his videos. He seems to also watch the musicians preform, it seems to perfect his harmony with them. Amazing talent.
You won't EVER regret getting to know Parcels, check out ANY of their stuff. Following the line of AnnenMayKantereit videos tho, their "Can't get you out of my head" is a highly recommended option! Cheers Dave!

Glad you do some Annen May Kantereit. They started off singing in the streets of Cologne still beeing in High school. In the beginning they recorded by them self. Not that clean as now done in the studio. Suited his voice real good.
Would be glad if you do "Barfuß am Klavier" and Pocahontas even if its German language. Could use a converter to get the meaning.
By the way: Polices singer was Sting. The harmonica is a setup done by Annen May Kantereit. Should listen to the original to compare.
The amazing thing about henning mays voice is that he actually talks like that and has an amazing control singing with it

YOu dont have to react to it, but if you like what Annenmaykantereit is doing they have great songs in german with lots of different styles or lets say creativity they all play multiple instruments. You can basically sit through their albums while you clean the hosue and it feels like one concept if you knwo what I mean. Good to lsiten to even if you dont understand german

Sting is the Lead Singer of the police. He sang it the same, but so different. Go give it a listen.
I l ike to call those voices "character voices" ... you can recognize these voices directly and get an idea of the character - if this makes any sense to you!? o_O
