Fabulous couple of videos. I am a keen follower of Drake Paragon who documented his trip the other way through Prince Christian Sund. You saw some truly awesome icebergs. Thanks for sharing' beautiful boat too. One day I hope I can get up there in my Rival 32. Andy UK
Hi Andy we meet the Drake Paragons in Stornaway on our way north it's a small world on a boat. We wished we had done one season in Iceland then the next in Greenland
Nice to see this. Not very excited. Long. It will be interesting to know some more or to explain your choice to go there or there. How is it difficult ti sail in the ice. Thank you 🙏
love your vids....truly badass.....can I offer a suggestion (unless I am missing something)......obviously you are not switching poles in 2 months and such and the video quality looks a few years back......could I suggest you put dates on the video description and since journeys over (I think) maybe a video with a map or graphics and a timeline on your travels and stops.......I am sure you have amazing amazing footage from places I dream of going....maybe a little naration as well....not alot as pictures are worth 1000 words but a few words would be nice....hoping there are more vids on the way
Beautiful country. Don't suppose you've ever crossed paths with Peter and Ginger of SY Irene? They sailed the NWP west to east, then south stopping in Greenland. They take lots of pictures and have a blog but nobody can convince them to make videos, such a loss. Enjoyed a few of your videos thank you. South Georgia looked intense. Ever been to Falklands? Take Care...
@@philandlyndachristieson8808 Only three months in the Falklands... Making me jealous... By "I have yet to make a video", do you mean of the Falklands, or any video, somebody else is currently making the videos? My impression is there are great tails yet to be told so I subscribed to your channel.
@@philandlyndachristieson8808 I'm at the computer taking care of some business. The popup notifications are a nice break. I look forward to those and other videos you have in the works. The Falklands are a place that has intrigued me for years. I would also love to be able to pay my respects to Ernest Shackleton one day!
We have been in Fiordland NZ for the past few months, living on venison and crayfish lots of rain, the wettest place on the planet. Of course no phone or internet till now at Stewart Island Phil and Lynda

My son Luke and I are refitting a 62' x 30' alloy cat we brought, over this summer at home in Nelson. Then a year working on our house followed by building a cabin on our property in Wiarangi Bay, maybe some more sailing after this Phil and Lynda

What a journey. Luckily you could go through Prince Christian 👍🏽 If I’ve got it right, it isn’t able to navigate all years. ⛵️

Where are the people ? It's just like houses and equipment but no one there to maintain it all, very strange !
The population is being drawn to the larger towns just the same the world over.
