This guitar is fine. No real issues. Paint cracks at the neck joint are common on all styles and price points. Extra wire is ok. Far too little extra resistance to make any sound issues. Also, the pocket and routing paint is fine. Why increase the cost during manufacturing when there's absolutely no reason, as you stated. The price you quote is actually really low. 'Could do a lot worse for more money. Using a good sounding amp will make it sing to it's potential. Thanks!
I appreciate the comment...can you suggest any good video on how to set up this stop tail piece correctly? I had to remove it when I flew with it.Any help is great,no worries.cool.
If you want to make the wires shorter it will not has any effect because they are to short and therefore the resistance will not change for this small wires.
The price doesn't make it twice as good. you're paying up for the Ibanez name compared to something like the Indio Classic. (not disparaging either- I've got an indio and hub has an ibanez 521. Love both.)
What I find the most revealing isn’t just the quality issues - expected from a any price point. But I’ve also see as much on guitars Like epiphone and Gibson. Don’t these Retail stores- inspect there products before Hand . Any reputable guitar store will and Has . I’ve seen a similar video , upgrading with better suited components. Internals Clean , wasn’t any blemishes, dents or paint Runs . Unless you’ve bought b stock and Opps left that out .
I commented on previous vid did yours have pickup ring screws that were just barely threading and turning instead of tightening mine does I threw away my pickguard I just can't stand restringing it still
You can just use Elmer's glue and toothpicks if they fit in there. Or you can just use Elmer's glue. You can pre-drill it for you can just screw it in there and hope for the best.

@@overnightguitarist5063 I like Tomanns Guitars and Basses on YT. Simple, fast and covers the subject.
Hope it helps!

I use lemon oil to condition the fretboard on my guitars. 😊

I had a 521. Frets were fine, not sharp.
How are the pickups? Mine were very microphonic. And about half of the frets were not even crowned!
