What I love about the Pat and Tiffany characters is that while they are unstable, have volatile emotions, and extremely vulnerable, both are at their cores, decent and loving people. This scene perfectly shows you that with Tiffany. As pissed off as she was, her compassion wins out in the end.
I know I am late seeing this movie, but I am surprised at some of the comments. Unless she acted out, he never saw her as a real person. I love how good this movie is good at showing compassion equally: They show the flaws of him her and the people around them all in one scene. Yes. I have bipolar disorder as well as PTSD and and Anxiety disorder and when I start to feel myself falling into this this is exactly how it starts crazy accurate
Thank god Bradley crawled out of roles like the Hangover. Yes. He was good in it. But with movies like these and a Star is Born are proof he is an amazing actor!
The point of the movie was that everyone has a little crazy so everyone should have a little bit of empathy. He learned to be more accepting of that crazy, and she learned to be more accepting of the empathy.
this scene means a lot to me. I am Bradley and i am Jennifer. I quote Jennifer’s lines drawing from my own pain like I’m in an audition and it’s so therapeutic
I feel the same way when ramping up getting into political discussions with people who have no idea how have non-toxic conversations. Totally running lines, points to remember, etc.
Jennifer Lawrence is an beautiful and good actress. Everybody loves her! Bradley Cooper is an good actor. I love his voice of Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy.
Honestly, watching him just freeze up and unable to say anything because of that song trigger was the AHA moment I wanted for so many years - for as long as I can remember, I have had a few song triggers and my parents and others would always laugh at me, call me crazy/sensitive, and sometimes would play them just to get a rise/reaction out of me, knowing that I didn't like them or bothered me. So seeing this and how he acted hearing the song (whether it was in his head or playing on speakers) definitely showed me that this is a very real thing and people can have triggers like this - me being one of them
It scared me to death when I saw the whole crowd roasting him. No one saw him harassing her or even if they saw him touching her, after he stopped doing it they still came after him and the police was almost gonna arrest him for that. I know it's necessary and important to speak out and take action in harassment cases but I'm glad the show portrayed its dark side too.
To be fair, it was not the ENTIRE crowd, it was mostly the kids who were trying to publicly threaten him, but I do agree, completely. To be helpless in a situation like that, being in front of several people and not one person stands up for you. What she did though after that did touch me though. She felt human after she recognized that he was panicking. True compassion at its best.

I love the way she look when she says crazy and they laughs lol 1:13
This scene was brilliant and triggering. I have a panic disorder that bring with it dissociative spells and MAN this was so accurate. The way everyone looks wider and the zooming in on weird faces.
Yes. I have bipolar disorder as well as PTSD and and Anxiety disorder and when I start to feel myself falling into this this is exactly how it starts crazy accurate
2:15 that's so sad...
Most attractive jlaw has ever been
So fire.
Yup. I love her.
Same
Slow down raisin brand 😂😂 gets me every time
this scene means a lot to me.
Best movie ever. Jennifer killed this role.
Jennifer Lawrence is an beautiful and good actress. Everybody loves her!
Bradley Cooper is an good actor. I love his voice of Rocket Raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy.
"Youre killing me" 😢
Superior mental illness category LOL
I love this movie so much. Amazing acting from Lawrence and Cooper
She realized she was being a manipulative pos and got him in trouble, and felt bad
"Slow down, Raisin Bran"
Daymmm....the hunger games really did a number on Katniss...shes totally lost it...🥶🥶🥶
Honestly, watching him just freeze up and unable to say anything because of that song trigger was the AHA moment I wanted for so many years - for as long as I can remember, I have had a few song triggers and my parents and others would always laugh at me, call me crazy/sensitive, and sometimes would play them just to get a rise/reaction out of me, knowing that I didn't like them or bothered me.
So seeing this and how he acted hearing the song (whether it was in his head or playing on speakers) definitely showed me that this is a very real thing and people can have triggers like this - me being one of them
I love her laugh I bet that won her the Oscar 😭😂
Aren’t we all afraid of being judged? Especially by persons we like?
True compassion at its best.
it is horrific scene, he didnt do anything, and she screamed like crazy!
1:23 The moment we all came for
Great actress ever!
what?
Melanie Marcos there are more actresses that are better then her
uhhhhh no. Hell no. She's really only good with one role, the hot tempered blunt character.
jack mayor so are more actresses lol
1:21 is why Jennifer is winning Oscars. LOL I don't care if what people say about this film.
“You think I’m crazier than you… Oh my God.” When you end the relationship.
No affiliation, just admiration, but we spotted a real small business in a supporting role in this video. Lansdowne Theater's star shines bright at 1:43. Let's give small businesses everywhere some love ❤ - when you spot one, give them a shout out.
1:43 - Lansdowne Theater
Jennifer Lawrence totally nailed that Oscar. Bradley Cooper also got robbed.
I love how someone in the diner says, " go get her man". Because inevitably in those situations, someone always will say that..
Great, great scene from a great movie, IMO.
The theater says Midnight Meat Train, which is a horror movie with Bradley Cooper.
that ending tho lol
That movie was so horrible. I think they included it as a joke.
Clive Barker!
So passionate such an amazing scene. You have to wonder if some of the bystanders were just that. And when she stopped his nightmare from unfolding, uh. Mercy in the face of persecution. Good acting.
She is a best actress ever.
That crazy laugh though😂😂 reminds me, of me!
It was at this exact moment that I fell completely in love with her. .
1:03 Academy Award 🥇 winning performance
Why haven't I seen this movie? I LOVE JENNIFER LAWRENCE!! Katniss forever!! ❤️
This movie is underrated. It was soo good and if you know the story you will understand the significance of this scene.
she finally gets his hypocrisy... Vindication!
Shes so good
I mean Tiffany basically proved his point lol
Crazy how false accusations were so clearly demonstrated even back in this movie.
Andjelkovic Dennis : willkommen bei dem Erwachsenen 😂🤣😂👍
This is such a great movie
"Slow down raisin bran" 😅🤣
Amazing actress
Why does she say he's harassing her?
That's where her metal downside kicks in. She's has this thing earlier where she's always harassed by men and co workers
Everyone talking about the diner part but what makes me mad is her lying saying he’s harassing her just to get him in trouble. I hate women who play games like this. Just because they are frustrated they will potentially get you hurt or in trouble over nothing.
The way he says "sort of like YOU" always breaks me, I feel for Tiffany
I opened up to you and you judged me ... I felt that !!
JLaw was 21 in this scene and is playing a divorcee... I'm 21 and don't know how to make instant mac n cheese.... 😐
She's actually playing a widow but I see your point 😂
These both are amazing actors!
