Der Maiszünsler wird biologisch aus der Luft bekämpft. Die Schlupfwespen sind die natürlichen Feinde der Maiszünsler. Deren Larven werden aus der Luft auf die Maisfelder gestreut.
Very interesting. I have a question that maybe a bit off topic. I fly an Aeros ANT and we too have quite a few corn (maze) fields where I fly. What scares me is having a engine out and having to land in the taller corn...I'm afraid it would tear my trike and wing up. Do you have any suggestions for how to handle a landing in corn that was pretty tall. Thanks.
A Landing in tall corn is not really what you want. Just fly a little higher and faster, so you can pull up and glide to the edge of the field to safer terrain in case of engine out 😉
If it happens Landing in such terrain you land on the top as surface and push out hard to get the trike as slow as possible to minimize Impact thent it is about 30+kmh with wind less. Also big wheels could protect you a bit

In Germany Training in a Flight school and lots of exercise 🏃♂️
