I am a little confused - did you not want to know how the story ended? Mr. Doan does not provide the ending. BUT ..... AUDIOBOOKS does have the complete and satisfying book. Happy 'reading'!!!
Please be warned, you will not enjoy the story as you approach the ending. D.P. does not complete the audiobook accurately or completely. I was VERY upset. Consider yourself warned without ill intent.
because asking in here and not being answered for 6 months is so much quicker than copy and pasting the title and doing a search on here. I can't imagine being so lacking initiative as you are, so dependent on the charity of strangers. It never works because no one likes to help willfully lazy twats.
What a bunch of whiners some of you are! Pedants, get thee to a library. Turn some pages. Braille even. No excuses. Hire a Reader. I’m available - no British accent though. 😂
Your reputation from 'Eye of the Needle' precedes you and as a result I do not trust you will supply a full story. Omitting the last 10 minutes of Higgins's dramatic tale is not good story-telling.
This is the sort of chap who throws out an entire punnet of strawberries because he finds a single one is unripe! Apart from EotN all the other KFs I’ve listened to were full and fine.
When the Danes are speaking. They sound like a mix of norwegian, russian, little bit indian and a huge amount of germen. There are hardly any danish sounds. And at a point Vlad the impaler is pronounced Flad the impaler. 100% german 0% danish. Sadly I could not go on. And had to stop at that point.
@@richardholladay465 You can't possibly be that dumb, WW II is History, the story is the writers imagination. The title of the book is not World War II is it?
“Going up and down like a tarts knickers. “ Only Follett. Masterly simile. Always makes us smile no matter how grim the situation.
Another wonderful book from the talented Ken Follett. Thank you for the upload.
Doan Pham, thank you for the upload. My favorite of Follett's stories...adventure, flying, romance, courage, defined characters. Enjoyable

Yes, there is a part 2 A plane so decrepit - Historical Fiction Audiobook - P2 and it's on this channel.
Love this audio, the information so detailed. Have to keep reading.
Is this good ?
There is a part 2, so far so good....................
He has messed up a bunch of uploads. He's nowhere to be found so I'll just have to move on. Bummer.
Thanks you so much ❤️
I am really enjoying this 🙏

Does this actually has a conclusion ? Unlike 'The eye of a needle' ?
Thank you! John Lee narrates Follett so well! What a treat! 🇩🇰
Icannot agree. There are times when the narrator , by bizarre stresses on words or phrases, distracts attention from the story. I gave up at 29.07
DON'T trust this guy's uploads. At least some of them have missing chapters / CDs.
It is pretty good
A good storey!
part 2????
Clark Jennifer Martin Kenneth Taylor Joseph
Does anyone know if the two uploads for this book are complete, before I start listening?

@@Oscuros so yes then?
Not sure that Mr. Follett would appreciate you renaming his book! It's called Hornet Flight in case you weren't aware.
I thought it was eye of the Needle

A slightly irritating 'precise' accent which doesn't quite 'flow' - but, it's a freebie so ....
👍👍
Hornet Flight?
❤
No part 2???? How annoying
PS: a clue to listeners is the 2 part story with 2nd part dramatically time shortened.
Do you mean some is missing?

Gayle MacDougall - Bercarich Thanks
I second that - left trawling through You Tube to find out the end result - not having seen the film.
Agreed. I thought it was poor stick to get the reader to buy the book...but I enjoyed imaging the different ways it could have ended.

Hermione ? if so the pronunciation is off
The narration is somewhat robotic, which is a pity.
Cope en Haygen, not Cope en haagen! Drives me crazy..
I was thinking that too. Two years later, you’re not alone! 😅
No, it is Copenhagen as the narrator says.

So long.
The story is sadly inaccurate. The author has little understanding of the composition of the RAF in WWII
Do you know what "fiction"means? Historical or not.
@@seadog915 Oh - I thought WW2 really happened!
