When I first heard of them, I was just walking by the stage on my way to another stage when they came out… I’d stop and listen, turn back around… turn back to the stage… getting closer and closer until I was just sucked into the crowd. I wasn’t the only one. I missed the band I was going to go see. No regrets over a decade later.
There shouldn't be any blame being thrown anywhere. Live situations are completely different than studio situations. In the studio you have time to take a breath in between takes or phrases, and you have do-overs if you don't like the way you did something or if you messed up. You have none of those options in a live scenario. People need to stop giving her shit for not being able to do her voice perfectly live because I can guarantee most bands can't.
I can agree with you, but just because you're holding a camera/iPhone doesn't mean you're not enjoying the moment. I record several videos for every concert I go. This includes BTBAM/AAL/Tesseract, Thrice/AAL/o'Brother, Opeth/Katatonia and A7X/TDG/BFMV and I can still remember every wonderful moment as if it happened yesterday. I like to think of my TH-cam videos as the yearbook to my concert experience.

Man! Vic Fuentes was right about the singer of this band. She sounds so gnarly that she sounds like the devil! And that's a compliment! I just saw her put the microphone in her mouth while I was commenting this. Now I will have NIGHTMARES! Not a compliment!
And the only thing they take advantage of is the music industry. An industry where they can write whatever the hell they want, and have the time of their life doing it. I don't like electronic music -- at all, and I even hated this band before I saw them. HATED. Then I saw them and they made a fan out of me. It doesn't mean I circlejerk over their music. I listen to progressive death metal and this is the only electronic metal band I like.

It has nothing to do with 'cell phone recording'- the band sounded okay, she sounds like pure shit. I watched Korn last night live and they sounded perfect- record perfect. Johnathan Davis sounded great to my ears and my phone. She just sounds like shit live.

When is this whole emo/indie look gonna go away? Wasn't this popular in 2004? And why is the guitarist doing a two step as he's playing a guitar? And why is having shaggy hair with a v-neck a must in this scene? And why do people love being emo? Does anyone have good reasons for this?
There is no "butthurt" -- only a lack of tolerance for indecency and ignorance. There's a difference between publicly advocating your opinions and unnecessarily provoking a loyal community.
