    This might honestly be the best bike review I’ve watched in a long time. Great video.

    Thanks for the honest insight on the suspension setup good to know that the stock components with the right tweaking can hold up against the semi pro setups u can buy out of the box ,nice bike ,d

      @@Andy-wo9bm I think it's pretty neat. All my years of riding/racing, I've never needed to add brake fluid to a bike, so for me, no real need of having a site window to check if it's low/dirty, not to mention, it's only 2 bolts to check it anyway...
      On the flip side, I never had a site window and/or master cylinder crack/brake...
      It's nice to know in the super rare case that roost, or somebody's bike happens to contact there, it's medal instead of glass.

    So, why kit suspension for a 30+ C rider and not just worked production pieces?

    • @MichaelLindsay
      @MichaelLindsay  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jeff Balla Joe likes trick stuff and has priorly bought his kit sets used at very good deals.

    • @joecarlino1900
      @joecarlino1900 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      If you ride a stock Honda or Yamaha back to back with a KTM you can feel an amazing difference in the forks and the KTM was just not up to par for me but great in other areas. To me riding a bike that is well set up and comfortable, progressed my riding ten fold. I’ve been lucky that I found great deals and can afford some trick parts.
      If you keep kit suspension long enough and transfer to multiple bikes, you can even out the cost of modding stock suspension all while riding best stuff on the market.

    • @Jeff_Balla_651
      @Jeff_Balla_651 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      All the power to ya, I wasn't trying to bag on you, was more curious as why straight to kit more than anything. I have a 19 Honda 250 and yes a major upgrade from my 14 Husky TE250 suspension wise. Still, not impressed much with how it handles chop and braking bumps, maybe I need to try some of those kit bits! Enjoy it, it looks like a blast to ride.

    I would love to buy and ride a 350. Problem is the price. With there being very little difference in price, why would you choose the 350 over the 450. Especially seeing all the parts you throw into it after the fact. If KTM priced their 350's right in the middle of their 250 and 450, they might get more interest...

    • @bemrfan0108
      @bemrfan0108 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The 350 is kinda lighter than a 450 husky and KTM makes the 350 4T And a 150 2T

    • @joecarlino8279
      @joecarlino8279 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bemrfan0108 It depends on your size. I'm 5,9 160lbs, I dont need the power of a 450. The 350 still feels light(close to a 250) and has the perfect amount of power that it's fun not scary. To me on the 450, i'm managing the power all the time because it's too much.

    yeah,,,, but,, but,,, but,,, you put like $5K in upgrades on the bike. Not sure that's a real fair comparison to a 450. Definitely a cool bike.

  • @iShadowMtn

    Nobody needs a 450 at a local level. It’s so sad to see when I see a vet guy getting weeded because they can’t control the power.
