What a nice boy. I can't get either one of my parrotlets to say anything at all. My boy tries, sometimes I can tell he's using his actual speaking voice but it's nothing that you can understand. You've done such a good job with him, love to see it
I have a blue parrotlet face chest and belly his wings are grade and he's got royal blue on them which makes him a male. He doesn't eat much most of the seeds wind up on the floor I don't know what to do she's eating got to be tiny seeds used to like send black seeds with no light lines in them just send black seeds and he I know he used to like the black seeds with no lines and of this smaller and he used to like the white seeds now he don't seem to care for the white Seas I see them on the floor unopened I don't know how he's maintaining his appetite is very active molting could that be the reason the themolpt? I was thinking of getting him a female Birds since he didn't showing interest in female parrotlets he's very protective of his Bells the cage is 20 in across 28 inches high and 20 in deep pretty big cage for a problem and I have plenty of toys and hiding areas for them and it would be a question where to put the cage how long does it take for the eggs to come out open up all that good stuff maybe I could try applesauce for my birds see if he eats that which some mix cherries in there
I like your videos they're pretty funny and I like your parrotlet. What I like to know is you seem to experience with birds of this parrot size I've had parrots before but they always ate plenty of food even when they melted this parrotlets parallette black and blue under the wings and a blue rump showing that that means he's the mail next question do you have any suggestions I've tried all fruits and vegetables I ordered a stainless steel skewer to hang from the cage so I can put different pieces of six piece of carrot cutting it down. They have satellites the skewer. Anyways I was thinking of getting a female putting her in a small cage and slowly you don't have any Wingstop Clipper wings and and nails and I'll keep her in a small black cage and then what I'll do is if they're about a week or so put her in the big cage and take him out and put him in the little cage that give her a chance to get used to the big cage is that a good idea this way she won't feel so quick to run out of there if she runs out at all hopefully I would like her to have a companion. Write me back if this is a good idea to try

You mentioned that parallettes it's better to have a individual one because they're very Territorial and they fight with another parallel to get another one I've tried everything grapes oranges I've had parents before large ones like African grey and a blue front Amazon and a conure and they loved produce grapes lettuce apples anything you could give them they love that on top of the fruit grapes. I was wondering if you had any suggestions of I tried boiled egg he doesn't eat boiled egg maybe have a suggestion if there is one thank you for your time again have a nice summer
Fred Rock Hi, re egg in your birds diet. I have purchased Volkman Gourmet Eggfood. Buster would eat this. It is a protein -rich mix to promote health & strength. You might try this & see if your bird will take to it? I wish you luck! I hope you had a nice visit with family...
