Weegee talking about my favourite track ever (from my childhood game) and saying that the name I grew up with as a Brit (melody motorway) is better than the us name just made me so happy.
I got 86% on the character quiz and 79% on the track quiz. For Characters I got everyone but missed a bunch from Tour also blanked on some notable Tour reps like Nabbit and monty mole so I could have done better but I am happy I got everyone else. About Tour characters, the ones who are formulated like "Name (Outfit)" do not count as separate characters, they're just costumes. Luigi (Knight) is just Luigi. However, Builder Mario is a separate character because he's Builder Mario and not Mario (Builder). And in most cases, this distinction is there because of power-ups. Metal Mario, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach were separate characters in previous games, so all power-ups in Tour are counted as separate characters and not costumes. (Builder being a power up in Mario Maker 2)
For the character quiz, I got 72/80 I missed all the alternate forms I wouldn’t have considered as new characters, specifically: Builder Mario and Builder Luigi The Dr.s (Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser) Captain Toad and Kitsune Luigi (out of these 8 these two are the most reasonable to be considered “new characters” I guess, but I personally disagree with the rest of them being considered) Will get back with yall after the track quiz Update: perfect score on the track quiz with 5:18 remaining I have found a much harder track quiz, though

I actually tried the character quiz myself out of curiosity. Got everyone right from Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart 8, including the obscure arcade characters...and then I went to Tour and utterly failed aside from a small selection of characters I knew were already in lol. Fun to see everyone else's guesses. I did try the course tier list and did horrible at it, my ass does not remember the vast majority of track names lol
